I have no fewer than 7 backing tracks for you this week, one for each of the grooves I discuss in the video. They're all very simple bass and drums loops. I've stretched each one out to 3 or 4 minutes, so you can spend a bit of time getting into each of the patterns. I think that kind of groove stamina over the course of a 3 or 4 minute song is really important. I've not tried uploading this many audio files at once before on Patreon, so hope it all works OK. And hope you enjoy playing along!

This is a great collection of mini lessons. I play with other hobbyists and try to spend a decent amount of practice time working on rhythm playing and these are going to be a nice addition to my routine. Ty

I'm wondering if any other intermediate guitarists find the 'Busy 16ths' as challenging as I do? I've been playing for years, but I still can barely get through the progression at 85 bpm without losing the pick. This is now a part of my daily practice routine, and I'm making some progress, but very slowly!

With less busy strumming, I realize that I'm constantly making small adjustments with my fingers to keep the pick in optimal grip. But the busier the pattern the less I'm able to make those adjustments. Any tips?

Having trouble with the bass line, is it 3 chords only? In progression, the 4th chord is really the first chord over again? Talking about the 4th Groove. Thanks
