Cover Reveal! Lilliputian Living Les Petits Plaisirs de la Vie (Patreon)
Content
I'd already announced that we're releasing a second book of Lilliputian Living about a month ago- but in case you missed it- I'M RELEASING A SECOND LILLIPUTIAN LIVING BOOK!
Can you believe this is my FIFTH BOOK? I can't quite- it feels more like a third. It doesn't help that the first book of Lilliputian Living was released as kinda a bonus to 7" Kara Volume 2, and that the coloring book, Curious Little Things, was released at the start of the fall convention season a couple years ago.
Neither of those books saw much fanfare, but I want to change that for Les Petits Plaisirs! I want the whole world to hear about this project, so please, help me spread the word! Tell your friends! Reblog posts!
This might come as a bit of a surprise, but Joseph and I do just about everything around here. I write and draw, and he edits and does layout. We self-publish and generally self-distribute. Yall are our backbone for getting the word out about passion projects like Les Petits Plaisirs.
I'm looking for people interested in reading Advanced Reader Copies and leaving a review or a blurb. The eARC will be short the latest chapter (that comes in October, and I'll be sharing it to social media the way I've shared all seven past Lilliputian Livings) and may have some rough edges, so I look forward to hearing what yall think! If you're interested in receiving an eARC, don't hesitate to get in touch with me via email.
I absolutely love this cover for Les Petits Plaisirs de la Vie- I think it works so much better than the cover of the first volume. Would you believe that a version of this was initially slated to be the cover of Curious Little Things? I did the rose round for Curious Little Things to be more in line with the visual style used for adult coloring books, but I still adored this concept and wanted to use it. I feel like it's a perfect fit for the little pleasures in life.
I recorded the painting process for this (because of course), but I'm debating whether I should turn it into a tutorial or a calming and cozy timelapse. What do yall think?
I'll keep you guys updates with Lilliputian Living Les Petits Plaisirs de la Vie- I still need to draw a whole QUARTER OF THE BOOK! We're thinking festivities- sports, festivals, and major life milestones. That feels like an excellent ending to this eight-year project.
