First thing first, Nina must be protected, she just a cutie patootie, even if she isn't very little (in many ways). But yeah, I remember thinking to myself that in this episode, the other girls watching Nina at the start where more thirsty than a runner after a marathon in the desert lol. Also, small japanese explanation, Otoha have for first name "Kurogane", the kuro part in it mean black (just like her hair), while Tamaki's first name is "Shiraya", and the shira part of it refer to shiro, white in japanese. I didn't research it, but I think before a vowel, the O from shiro turn to an A for a better sound, for exemple, white snow is called shirayuki in japanese (shira/shiro = white, yuki = snow). So when Otoha read the comment that started "from Shiro to Kuro", she knew immediatly from who it was. Also, Otoha really didn't want to "cheat" on her "partner" with another guitarist, good for her hehe.

Tina. She's Tina, not Nina 🙏 Tina Isemi (院瀬見 ティナ, Isemi Tina) But you may call her Saiki. For the ease of reference, these are the full names: Lilisa Suzunomiya (鈴ノ宮 りりさ, Suzunomiya Ririsa) Otoha Kurogane (黒鉄 音羽, Kurogane Otoha) Tamaki Shiraya (白矢 環, Shiraya Tamaki) And thanks for commenting on that, about "Shiro" and "Kuro." It's a nice thing they made their names indicative of their individualities. I think the overall idea of this anime is that Lilisa is such a powerful force that she changes all people around her. Especially those rich girls who were always living comfortable lives and were never really challenged to go farther and deeper. Lilisa makes them realize how superficial were their lives before, and they awaken to their true selves. I think it's symbolized by sweating. They were never sweating before they met Lilisa, and now they do each time they play with her. Remember the whole story of Shiro here? I mean, Tamaki. How Lilisa always feels that Tamaki is "frozen," but then, at a concert, Lilisa manages to break her ice, and Shiro starts sweating as well? And comments, "I never broke a sweat before while playing..."

My bad, I know it's Tina and certainly thinked that I wrote correctly, but my fingers didn't listen to me... About the sweating part, another reactor that I follow who watched and loved the show, just made this comment when Tina said that Lilisa was shining on stage, that it was because of the sweat lol.

Lilisa: Yes, I accidentally fell on her.... Otoha: Sure.

I wonder if in the next season Tina will start singing? She's got this low voice, similar to Saiki's singing range. But Tina can also do that talking for her plush toy, which is high-pitched. I wonder if they will realize finally that it's time to go further and add vocals, if they want to perform at Fuji Rock festival...

Guitarists being able to play bass is a slight misconception, sure we already have the same general co-ordination skills required to get a sound out of the instrument, but the role & responsibility within an ensemble and ability to affect the harmonic structure of the arrangements is somewhat different. Too many guitarists pick up a bass and either try to play it like lead guitar or do nothing but hammer out root notes. Other than the additional finger and callus strength required, it's easier to initially pick up bass guitar, but I'd argue to 'get good' and/or 'master' the instrument is more difficult than guitar overall. And that's not even getting into fingerstyle & slap techniques, which are for the most part very different from their electric guitar equivalents.

It's been a while since this video was posted, but I'll leave this here. Tina speaks like a male, even refering to herself as "boku" which is a way young boys say "I." It's all part of her "Prince" persona. In fact she's not just a Ouji (Prince) she's a Shonen Ouji (young boy prince)
