I was not expecting for this to be what it is.

It's such an emotional song from a band that usually has some loud tracks with some shock factor...

I thought I was going to be able to hold back my emotions, but the lyrics combined with how the feelings of loneliness and grief were present within the composition of the song got me.

The path we walked together back then is gone But I kept walking, wondering when I'll see you again someday Snow falls softly on the faint hilltop Even though I know I can't reach you, there's a single flower in your room that I loved so much... The last snow of the year A promise we made tightly When I think of it, it melts away, falling from the sky Snow falls softly on the faint hilltop Even though I know I can't reach you, there's a single flower in your room that I loved so much... I gaze at the snow falling alone on the frosty horizon While remembering you I'm looking at you through the glass, and I'm kissing you for the last time... Hey, smile, don't cry anymore. I'll always be watching you from here. Snow is falling softly on the faint hilltop. Even though I know I can't reach you, I'm placing a single flower in your room. The flower I loved so much... The light is quietly white in the midst of a quietly falling town. The last colors of the sky you saw. The truth that brought down tears is cruel, isn't it? The last colors of the sky you saw. Shiki and your colors will soon fade away. The snow melts, and flowers bloom on the street corner. The "Shikisai" you saw... "wa" gently drifts away The last snow of this year The day of this year's final colors (A single flower on the street, looking up at the sky, the last snow falls with a halo of light)

Big Ear always puts up stuff I would not usually listen to, but find I enjoy. I tried to encourage him to post more :p .

Mr. Story must have been an extraordinary person. His contributions to your life are something that we are all grateful for because without them none of us would be in this place, right now. Don't be embarrassed for crying during this video. I've watched it countless times, and my face was leaking right along with yours. 😅 I know that there have to be numerous singers that can emote and project emotions just as well as Kyo does, but in my tiny circle of life he is the king. His authenticity on stage is what draws me into their music so completely. Just so you're more ( or less ) prepared for next time, Dir En Grey's entire 30 year catalog is just about a 50/50 split between songs that will make you cry all the tears you have or totally light all your hair on fire. You may be able to guess by the thumbnail of the video what's in store for you, but I'll never spoil it in my description. I'm fun that way. 🤪

I'm glad you liked it P. I don't wanna carpet bomb her list with this stuff. It's not for everyone, all the time like it is for me. Gotta leave my audience craving for more.😅

Kyo is a tremendous song writer.
