I had a feeling that this was going to be cute, but I wasn't expecting it to be such a cool story!

A cute little duckling becomes a ballerina with a hidden power given to her by a story teller that is letting our duck write the story?

DUDE! Where was this when I was a kid?!

eeee I'm glad you really enjoyed the first episode! I feel the same way, even as a little boy, if i watched this back then it would've hit SO hard. It hit hard enough when I was 19 lol

Also some notes! Ahiru is my favorite part of the show, shes so sweet and charming, and her va is excellent. Dunno if you caught on but Ahiru's name is LITERALLY just "duck". Thats not at all a normal japanese name, so much so that the old english dub changes Ahirus name to "Duck" to replicate the same effect, a decision that got mixed reception but I get the logic. The show also kinda works off of sailor moon or "magical girl" trope logic so nobody is going to be connecting the dots together on their own that the girl named duck that acts kinda like a duck is in fact a duck or the duck-themed magical girl princess tutu that looks exactly like her. You're correct on the subtitle of the show, it is the piece that gets played during the big climatic moment of the show. A lot of the episodic episodes usually have plots that heavily relate to the featured piece in clear ways (if its program music) or very vague ways (if not). The rest of the music in the episode are usually arrangements of things like the nutcracker that the show uses again and again for its main soundtrack, which are all very lovely Lastly, the previews at the end of the episode can be fairly explicit in terms of how much they can spoil for the next episode, especially as the plot starts to evolve later on in the show. Up to you whether or not your want to watch them!
