The fact that these ladies are 37 years old and were killin' it on stage before their hiatus is incredible! I mean...37 isn't old by any means, but I didn't think they would still be going strong.

I really like this trio. Their singing is calming and the music by the DJ is great!

This is a pop group I can get into!

I have one if their concert Blu-ray discs. They are amazing live performers.

Is that the one we watched on DISCORD? That was a really good show!

When asked about the name "Perfume" they said : The aura of perfume soothes people's souls and feelings, allowing them to feel happy. That's what we, as artists, want to evoke. So yeah, the calm and light, even lofi girl vibe, is what they want, in a band-maid way in sort, they seem to be a band that aspire to be positive and only bring positive vibe and help their fan and listener to feel better. What I shared for youtube was another song, but yeah, it is a music video, which have a different sound that this one, a more synthwave vibe, but some other are more bouncy and funky too, why other are more trap sounding. I will share a more bouncy one for youtube again, music video too, because I really love this MV ^^.

I strongly recommend the MV for “Flash” for your next step into the world of Perfume. Easily my favorite song of theirs. Their choreographer, Mikiko is also known as Mikiko-metal because she also does the choreography for Babymetal 🦊 Nocchi and Sheena Ringo collaborated on the song “1RKO”, roughly translated as “first round KO”

I won't claim to be a hardcore fan, but I've listened to them on and off for maybe 20 years. They would show up on the Japanese music variety shows that my wife would watch... But I do check out when they drop a new video, even after all this time they keep it interesting enough to see more.

They're one of the few groups I know of that learn the choreography in shoes that aren't their performance shoes. They use sneakers to initially learn the choreography and then use heels later. For most idol groups they wear the shoes they are going to perform in for even learning the choreography. PassCode will wear the Doc Marten's they are going to perfrom in every practice video they release. Except for recently since they have actually changed their footwear.

I'm not saying that I would cruise around listening to them for an extended time, but I probably wouldn't skip a track if it was to come across a random playlist either.
