Hola Familia!

Sorry for the severely late post...

5 more days until BAND-MAID hits Dallas! I am going. PERIOD!

Music time!

⚠️THE WARNING Weekend⚠️

This week we dive into the next track called “Kill or Be Killed.” This title has a strong sound to it so I am curious what the song is about. Since this album seems to cover more mature feelings, I am excited to see how I will connect with song on the album. So far, this album is really calling my name and I willing answering the call!

🔹WAR, Eric Burdon - “Spill The Wine”

I have heard of the band WAR before thanks to my brother and my dad. My dad and my brother have always thought that low riders were cool cars and I agree. The artwork and the hydraulics makes them interesting to see. I remember my dad singing that song anytime we were in El Paso because you would see some of them driving in his old neighborhoods. I happen to know the song “Why Can’t We Be Friends” because of Lethal Weapon 4. This movie series had a grip on my brother for a long time and I don’t blame him. I am excited to hear a song by WAR that I don’t know, and then get to know of Eric Burdon!

🔹Bobbie Dazzle - “Spotlight”

I’m spoiled this week by music with flute in it! I rocked out with Wucan last week and I LOVED their overall sound as well as the style of music and the surprise flute playing. This week we’ve go Bobbie Dazzle! That is a heck of a name. I cannot wait to check out what this band sounds like and I can’t wait to see the fluting!

🔹BAND-MAID - Christmas Online Okyuji, Maid Commentary, Pt.3

Can you believe BAND-MAID is going to be in Dallas next week? I’m shaking in anticipation! These commentary videos are making me feel like I am hanging out with them before they perform on Friday! Hearing them joking and watching themselves be serious and then not take themselves too seriously is so awesome. They are just great people! I CAN’T WAIT for FRIDAY!!
