Hello! It's a new episode of Phys Ed. This one features the absolutely wonderful David Roth of the absolutely wonderful Defector.

Mostly, we talked about basketball -- playing with friends, playing travel ball as a kid, trying out (or not) for school teams, and finding opportunities to play as an adult. As always, we tried to find a good NBA comp for Roth (Drazen Petrovic? Lou Williams? Trent Tucker? John Paxson? ). Also, we named a lot of towns in New Jersey. Like a LOT.

Enjoy! And, truly, if for some reason you don't already subscribe to Defector, it is worth it.
