Today's guest on Phys Ed is Candace Pedraza, our dear friend and producer of some of your favorite Secret Base videos.

Candace grew up in the Bronx, NY participating in playground Olympics, playing softball competitively, and then eventually switching to lacrosse in high school. She's got a lot to say about all of the above, and we also talked about handball (no, not the kind you're thinking of) (unless you're from New York City, in which case maybe) and other city-specific outdoor diversions.

Enjoy, and go find Candace elsewhere on the internet.

My big takeaway from all these phys ed podcasts is that I think you all would love the culture around curling if you can find your way to a club. The game itself is kind of ridiculous on the surface but has a lot of depth and you socialize with the other team after the game, plus whenever it gets late and people have had a few, all kinds of weird stuff gets tried out on the ice
