What's new on Patreon

The moment Jon announced the History of Charging the Mound, one of two moments probably popped into your head: Pedro Martinez throwing Don Zimmer to the ground (not a mound charging on its own), or Robin Ventura vs. Nolan Ryan. Well, the latter of those is now available for paid members. As he has never done before and is so out of character I can't believe he's done this, Jon got started on a video and realized "wow there's way more than just one regular old video here!" So, in order to get it to y'all as quick as possible, he split it into a clean part 1, with the full length version coming in August. Don't forget to hydrate before tuning into this one, it's hefty.

Continuing the baseball trend since it's now properly MLB season (RIP basketball, hockey, most of the World Cup at time of writing this), Alex had a thought. If a perfect game is a pitcher's achievement, why penalize them for their teammates errors? And to take that a step further as only Alex can, why not celebrate those who went one out further? 28 up, 28 down, Alex explored 10 instances where pitchers were actually BETTER than perfect.

Yesterday we dropped a brand new Rewinder about the 2022 World Cup Final and properly jinxed France. Sorry not sorry. If you have checked it out yet, Charlotte did a whole refresh on that series since it had become a bit outdated. Personally, I think it looks cool as hell. Char and Phil crushed that episode. That'll hit YouTube tomorrow (7/16) but wanted to make sure you had the chance to enjoy it before any of the participants got bounced. Think we'll go 2 for 2 and watch Argentina lose later?

And while this one's not a real Patreon update, it would not have been possible without Patreon: Charging the Mound episodes are making their way over to YouTube. Things to look forward to

Obviously, the rest of Ryan vs. Ventura is the headliner. That'll hit Patreon the first Monday of August. But what's even more special than that is this coming Monday we're dropping a new special project from Seth, Alex and Ryan. They dove deep on the night that Wilt Chamberlain stopped shooting. Just watched a cut yesterday, think you'll really dig it.

Beyond that, we've got plenty more Beef and Big Deal and Prism in the works, starting to get eyes on more one-offs for y'all right here, and then going to start bringing some of our fan favorites from YouTube over to here so all of y'all can enjoy those without the pesky ads. We'll probably run a poll to see what to upload first.
