Looking Onward (Ailana’s Diary, Saturday, Public) (Patreon)

If you are new to this page, there's something of an overview in the midday diary entry! It should give you a good idea what happens here.

AGI Stories content almost always appears on Patreon first, in advance of all other platforms. You get it first!
Good Morning
What a great week! It was amazing to have time with Izzy that was primarily fun and social. Sure, we did model some swimsuits for Sasha and Clay but that felt more like fun than work.
Now, she’s gone back to New York, and I’m looking ahead to the week to come.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and something about being with Izzy last week reminded me that I need to go in for my annual checkup. I was able to get set up for Monday.
More on all that to come!
My agent, Naomi Prior, called about something interesting. It’s an ad shoot for a lotion company. The motto is “Skin Protection For Even The Driest Conditions.”
There’s a twist—a good one!
Jason is going to be the photographer and will direct the shots. I’m in charge of hair and makeup, and I’ll be sort of the art director, as well. Sasha will be doing wardrobe. And Clay says he’s coming to drive the Highlander and do comic relief!
We’re going out on Tuesday for this job. And I have to tell you, I’m excited! We’re sort of stepping up, making everything self-contained. I know it will be more relaxed than a major campaign shoot like Paris, but that will make it even better.
If we can do things like this from time to time, I think we’ll really like it. It will be something else we can do as a group that lets us use our talents.
Naomi is hopeful, too. She says if this turns out well, and we can manage a quick turnaround, she can send little jobs our way from time to time.
Today, Jason and I are going back to the park. I’m going to write up sort of a “where we are now” post and boost it on Instagram. Perhaps there are more people who like reading out there, and maybe this will help locate them.
So, that’s kind of the plan for today! I’ll see you soon!

In The Park
I thought I’d BOOST this post on Instagram and see if I can share what I’m up to with some new people. Therefore, I made this post FREE and PUBLIC on Patreon. I hope some new readers might find it and like what they see.
Those of you who've been following closely lately probably recognize that I’ve reached a bit of a transition point. The Paris thing is over. The shakedown of the new boat ("Imagine What") and the trail of the new equipment on "Savannah's Charm" are over. Izzy's visit is over.
And… sadly… summer is over, though it seems no one told the South Padre Island weather that!
I felt like this was a good place to say we're making a transition, so I wanted to share who I am, where things stand, and what’s next.
I’m Ailana Geven. I live in South Padre Island, Texas in a condo building I share with five of my friends, my dad, and my grandmother. I live on the top floor in an efficiency unit.
My main job is being a writer. I create digital content that I sell to various editors and publishers. I also ghostwrite articles, essays, and fiction. That’s how I make a living.
I transitioned from modeling to writing in the summer of 2024. After nine years on the road, I needed a change. But over the last few months, I’ve begun modeling again on a part-time basis.
Those of us living here make up what we call AGI Stories—a collective sharing real-life adventures, creative work, and positive stories.
Josh Ryan, Jason Keller, and Geoni Naalk-Ryan do travel and lifestyle content. Josh writes, Jason and Geoni do photography, and Geoni edits.
Clay and Sasha are also part of AGI Stories. Sasha is sort of the planner-project manager of the team. Clay adds a lot of insight and support.
Clay and Sasha also just opened a new company—Swim-Fit Apparel produces items that are designed to feel good, fit well, and stay put during active watersports. Their Fit, feel, fashion ideals are going to be a big part of the months to come.
Our lives are shared through this diary format. Typically, there are three posts daily sharing morning, midday, and evening activities. You can look at other diary entries to see what kinds of images go with the stories.
I try to share authentic slices of life and write about what’s going on. I try to combine light-hearted self-reports, thought-provoking ideas about helping others, and general information about the places I visit.
If you're new to this space and this sounds like something you’d like to see more of, I hope you’ll follow.
That’s it for now, but I’ll definitely check in later for a goodnight post.
See you then!
Goodnight
Happy Saturday night, everyone! I hope you had a wonderful day and are finding a moment to unwind before the week ahead.
Jason and I decided to walk down to Sea Ranch Restaurant tonight. It’s only a few blocks from the condo, so we slipped out just as the last colors of sunset faded from the sky.
The air was warm and still, the kind that carries the faint sound of music from the marina. I could hear the waves on the beach and the soft hum of people finishing dinner on the patios.
Of course, Jason wanted to take a picture for the goodnight post—and of course, I didn’t mind at all.
Tomorrow feels like a pause between two important days. Monday is my annual breast exam—just a reminder for all of us to make those checkups a habit. Then on Tuesday, we’ll be heading out for that lotion ad shoot I talked about this morning.
This afternoon, Jason, Sasha, Clay, and I sat around planning every detail. Doing this together, just us, makes it feel special in a different way—like we’re building something that’s ours. The kind of work that reminds us why we started AGI Stories in the first place.
We’re all hoping it goes well—maybe even well enough to turn this into something we can do more often in the months ahead.
So, with that, I’ll wrap up and we’ll get on to the restaurant.
May you look ahead to new opportunities with hope, to small teams that feel like family, and to shared dreams that keep you moving forward.
Good night.
Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:
Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! It helps keep things going.
The cost of software is real and far from trivial. At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just at $100 per month. Patreon members are covering a nice portion of that.
I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. While most of the content is free and public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!
Again, thank you very, very much.
