WORKSHOP SATURDAY by Cindi Curtis
Happy Saturday, friends. I hope your weekend brings peace, productivity, and a little joy tucked in between.
I’ve been thinking a lot about talking to my therapist earlier this week.
When I told her that I’m “a girl on her way to becoming the me I want to be,” she smiled and said, “That’s the healthiest sentence you’ve ever spoken here.” I think she’s right.
I feel good today—excited, actually. Not the kind of “buzzed” energy my anxiety sometimes throws at me, but that balanced kind of anticipation you feel when something new is unfolding and you’re ready for it. I don’t know what all the changes will look like yet, but I’m learning to trust that the process will be worth it.
And I have an idea… It’s big enough to be scary and complicated enough that I want to talk to Mom about it. For now… just know I’m cooking something up!
Okay… I should actually do a post in line with the reason I started social media in the first place—DIY and daily life!
So, here’s a quick weekend project. If your desk looks like mine used to (a jumble of pens, clips, and cables), try this: take an old scrap piece of wood—mine’s a leftover shelf—and attach small glass jars or recycled tin cans underneath with hose clamps or screws. Instant hanging storage! Perfect for office supplies, art tools, or coffee pods if you’re a caffeine-powered coder like me.
For my devotional time this morning, I opened to Matthew 5:16: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
I love that it doesn’t say be perfect. It says shine. That means sharing kindness, creativity, and courage in our small daily ways.
May your day be filled with peace, purpose, and the gentle reminder that progress—no matter how small—is still progress.

NEW GYM BUDDY by Jordan Warner
Sorry, Michael… Hayes had time and working out with her won’t get me in trouble with Cindi! Also, hello, Cindi! Hope you’re staying warm out there in Colorado.
So, my shadowing time at LMD is over, but that doesn’t mean Hayes and I have to stop hanging out. I’ll start calling on the firm now for meetings to go over proposals, make notes about changes, and that sort of thing.
Michael has already roughed out a whole new front end to about ⅓ of their web site. He started with their mission statement, married that to my notes from Milan…
Okay, look, the guy’s good. I mean, really good.
Topic change: Me talking to you isn’t burning any calories or building any muscles. Time to start our second set.
I’m still trying to talk Hays into girls’ night tonight at my new apartment! More on that later, and I think she’s warming up to the idea.
Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:
Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! It helps keep things going.
The cost of software is real and far from trivial. At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just at $100 per month. Patreon members are covering a nice portion of that.
I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. While most of the content is free and public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!
Again, thank you very, very much.
