Happy Thursday, friends! I hope your week has been peaceful and productive so far. The sunlight in my office this morning feels like a quiet invitation to slow down before things get busy.

Today’s work list is full, but in a good way. I’m wrapping up some code for a client in Denver and double-checking data integrations before next week’s update. I’ve also been fine-tuning some automation scripts for our internal tools—one of those projects that’s not glamorous but makes everyone’s life easier later. It reminds me of how progress often happens: quietly, one line at a time.

And it reminds me that life changes also can happen in little increments. Not line by line, but step by step. When you take enough steps, you look back and see how far you’ve gone.

Well, last night, I had the most fun I’ve had in a while—Michael, Jordan, and I teamed up in World of Warcraft. Usually, it’s two of us tackling delves, but this time all three of us jumped in together.

Somewhere between Jordan’s endless optimism and Michael’s precision, I found myself just enjoying being in the moment. It’s funny how something simple like a shared quest can build real connection.

This morning’s devotion came from Psalm 37:7—“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.”

It’s not always easy to do that in a fast-paced world, but I’ve found that stillness—real, soul-deep quiet—creates room for trust. God doesn’t need us to rush; He asks us to rest in the assurance that He’s already at work.

So that’s my reminder for today: work faithfully, rest intentionally, and find joy in small moments of togetherness.
