Good Morning
First the phone buzzed. Text message from Geoni…
Geoni: “You up?”
Me: “I am now.”
Two minutes later…
Geoni: “Let me in.”
I figured something horrible had happened somewhere. Nope! Quite the opposite!
“I brought you coffee! Rainy Sundays deserve to start a little easier than the rest!”
I’m not complaining!
“Okay… by the window. Smile for a picture!”
Still not complaining. I hope all of you have people in your life that treat you well and make you feel special.
May your morning also begin with kindness, and may your kindness ripple outward.

After Church
We went to the early service today, then had a meeting in the lobby to decide what to do afterwards. We let the decision drift to the familiar: Sea Ranch Restaurant.
I suggested to Jason that we walk.
He looked out at the sky. “Looks like rain is back.”
I pulled up the weather app. “It’s supposed to be past us, now. Just clouds and wind.”
“Okay, let’s go for it!”
So we started walking as Clay drove the Highlander with Josh, Geoni, and Sasha, pausing so Sasha could say, “We’ll order appetizers and tea, and wait for you.”
Minutes later… Misting rain.
A few more minutes later… slow drizzle.
It didn’t take long before we were really wet. I figured Jason was regretting that he was right about the weather.
As always, he surprised me. “This is awesome. It’s nearly 80°F in November and we’re walking in the rain.”
“I’m sorry I thought this was a good idea.”
Jason side-hugged me. “Any minute I get to be with you gives me no reason to be sorry about anything. We have a memory we’ll keep for a long time. Like that time we got caught in the rain at Buckley Homestead.”
I smiled. “You’re not wrong about that! But that one… changed me forever, I think.”
We walked along a dozen or so more steps, then Jason had another thought. “You know you have to pose for a pic, right? This has to be part of the diary.”
The drizzle had gone from annoying to perfect by then, by means of his sweet thoughts and realizing that we were doing something special. Jason was right—that accidental walk in the rain was a memory in the making.
Good Night
Good night everyone. I hope your day was filled with joy and great moments.
Lunch started off soggy, but the warm feelings of sharing it with the AGI crew quickly let me forget that. We all had our favorite dishes, then just sat around the table talking about Saturday, SwimFit’s progress, and looking ahead to the weeks to come.
We’ll do all the real estate closings this week. Then getting Dad and Grammy moved should only take a day or two. The remodeling should commence soon after.
With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, we’re undecided about what to do. And where to do it. We know we want to be together—that’s certain. And the rest is just detail.
I ended my day with a bit of an adventure. I couldn’t find the camera remote (I think it’s in the Highlander). The backup remote needs new batteries (Don’t get me started on how all those wafer batteries all look the same but aren’t!)
I decided to play “beat the self-timer.” Ten seconds is not very long to run around the tripod, jump under the covers, get all the bits covered up, and smile nicely, to get your picture taken. I got 3 out of 4 steps right on most of the first seven tries. Only 2 out of 4 a few times!
Eighth time’s the charm! I’ll add that it was step 3 and 4 that was most challenging and just leave it at that.
I’ll close out today’s diary now, hoping you all have a wonderful week ahead.
May you find joy in all that you do. May you prosper greatly, becoming able to give back to others who are in need.
Good night.
Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:
Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just at $100 per month.
Patreon members… You are covering a nice portion of that.
I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.
While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!
Again, thank you very, very much.
