MOVING DAY by Cindi Curtis

This morning, I thanked Jordan for being such a great host just before she headed out to call on some of ClearStream’s Memphis clients. She wished me luck on the idea of getting into an extended stay hotel.

“Once you unpack, don’t be surprised if I invite myself for a visit! It’s been so fun having you here.”

I know we’ve only known each other through World of Warcraft and for a few days, but she really seems like a friend to me. And getting to know Hayes has been great, as well.

The hotel where I’m staying is called Arrive Memphis. Yelp! picked it as the best extended-stay hotel in the area. I can’t compare it to any others, but I can say it is really great.

It is on the corner of South Main and Butler. It is really only a few hundred feet from Michael’s condo—two blocks on South Main, but one is really small. Then five blocks down Huling. I probably wouldn’t walk it as a habit, but it's a super easy drive.

It’s also on the Main Street Trolley line, so there’s a lot of places that we can visit with ease.

So, for the next few weeks, I’m going to call this home. Obviously, it is vastly different compared to my home in Colorado, but it will be great. Being this close to Michael is going to make my time here in Memphis a lot better.

I’ll try to get back to the green-living tips soon, but today, I’ll wrap up with a devotional thought.

Psalm 139 reminds me that God is already in every place I’m afraid to enter. “Even there Your hand will guide me.”

I don’t have to feel strong first. I don’t have to hide my shaking hands. Wherever I go—new routines, new cities, new challenges—His presence arrives before I do. So today, I’m choosing to breathe and remember: I’m held, even here.

Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:

Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just at $100 per month.

Patreon members… You are covering a nice portion of that.

I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.

While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!

Again, thank you very, very much.

MOVING DAY. I wouldn't make it a habit to walk it, either. Better to drive. Hey, Cindi, glad you have found such a great place so near Michael. Do the green tips when you can. I will say I appreciate the devotional verse, as always. That is a fitting one for this moment. Thank you for posting. Have a great day.
