2025-12-07 Breaking The Fourth Wall Again (Patreon)

As I do when I have to break the fourth wall, I'm recycling a picture of Will Robertson, the senior partner from NYC SysCo in The Chosen Storyline. Will would probably say it's because he's the oldest and least interesting character.

I'm sitting here looking at the clock and at the calendar of the week to come. I honestly feel like I need to be realistic and acknowledge that I'm probably not going to be able to put out as much content as usual. Last week was very irregular, and this week to come will be equally so.

I'd love to say I'll keep pushing out chapters from The Chosen and River City Connections every day. Honestly, I don't think I can do that.

What I plan to do is keep things in The Diary going. Tomorrow will reveal what I hope will be a great mini-arc for the AGI gang! I've actually been working on the content for the week to come for days, so I'm in a pretty good place.

Secondary to that will be Cindi's visit to Michael in Memphis (River City Connections). If you're following that, you know she's in a pretty dynamic situation with a LOT on her mind.

After that, I'd like to get some posts of Emma out (The Chosen). There's a reason I favor Emma and it has to do with an Instagram thing where she's earning pennies on each post. Her IG account needs to grow…

Moreover, I'd like to fully resume things in The Chosen story arc. I do have plans and ideas for that.

Likewise, Secrets Of The World begs for attention. And if you've been around for a while, you know that has frequently been the case. The odd thing is, I actually really, really like that storyline! But it demands constant research and the creative process takes a lot of time.

If you are still reading, I'll add that every image you see takes between 20 and 90 minutes (average around 40), and every story takes 15 to 30 minutes. When you add that up, it’s easy to see how any disruption to my routine affects what I can produce. I do try to make sure the stories are solid and the images help tell them, so I don’t want to just generate a dozen halfway decent images and toss them out there. I think you deserve better.

So, cross your fingers and hope I find more time than I foresee! Meanwhile, the sun is coming out everywhere—South Padre Island, Memphis, and Brooklyn! And that's always nice, right?
