NO TEAMS by Cindi Curtis

Again, I’m starting early, and with the hour time zone differences, I’m actually very early! But I’m just checking emails and finishing my coffee, then I’ll finish getting ready for the day.

I’m actually looking forward to today. No scheduled meetings—just me working and getting things done.

I’m going to keep this short today.

Christmas Eve is a week from today. This year will be different. I’m going out of the house to attend an evening service at church. I was in college the last time I did that.

I guess there are a lot of reasons I stayed home. And I guess you can guess the reason I’m braving a night out this year! Michael is taking me to his church, then we’ll go back to his condo and exchange gifts.

I know a lot of you expect… you know… him to surprise me. I don’t think he thinks I’m ready for that. I don’t think I am, either, but… I’m hoping to become ready, and sooner than later.

We’ll just leave it at that for now. But be sure that I’m really, really glad he came out for Thanksgiving. And that I came back here for Christmas.

Let me end with a little preview of the events that at were the origin of Christmas:

Luke 2:1-5: In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to their own town to register.

4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary…

See you tomorrow!

Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:

Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just over $100 per month.

Patreon members… You are covering a nice portion of that.

I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.

While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!

Again, thank you very, very much.
