EASY SATURDAY by Cindi Curtis
Today, Michael and I are starting the day with a quick FaceTime, then he’s got a couple of emails to process before he comes to pick me up. The rest of the day will be us going out to Bartlett to look at potential houses.
Like most cities, even within the Memphis city limits are areas known by specific names. Midtown… Raleigh… Cordova…
Other municipalities also exist. To the southeast is Collierville and Germantown. Lakeland and Arlington are north of those. Bartlett is on Memphis’s northeast border—west of Lakeland and Arlington, and west of the Cordova area.
Of course, this isn’t a comprehensive list—just a snapshot of the area. I’ve settled on a particular area in Bartlett that has easy access to stores but is still relatively quiet.
I would like to thank all of you who are commenting and leaving encouraging thoughts. It really means a lot to me, and I wouldn’t be exaggerating if I said a lot of my growth over the year has been because of you.
I’m not magically cured of my anxiety disorder and probably never will be.But, as Mom noticed, being in a different setting makes attacks feel out of place instead of routine. For some reason, being surprised by having one makes it easier to push through.
My latest attack came here in the hotel in the bathroom. I was looking for a nail file and couldn’t find it. My frustration while looking must have opened a door for a panic attack to slip through. I left the bathroom, sat in the desk chair and recovered.
I’ve said that some days there’s just a little current of anxiety hanging out of sight. Other days, it’s more like a small stream running through everything. But, I’m taking it as it comes and doing things differently.
With that in mind, I’ll share the devotional Michael and I had this morning.
Isaiah 40:29: "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak".
It is one of those verses that needs no explanation other than to say the prophet was speaking of God to God’s followers.

HATCHING A PLAN by Jordan Warner
It’s Saturday afternoon, and I think something good is happening. No, not what you probably are thinking!
First off, thanks to Carter for posing for a selfie with me—and thanks to the employee cleaning tables for snapping the image…
Now, let’s go back a few hours. Carter texted.
C: Busy?
Me: Nope, call if you want.
“Jordan, I have something on my mind and I’d like to talk to you in person.”
Still not what you’re probably thinking. “Okay, wanna pick me up?”
We went out for fast food and talked. I’m not going to spoil it yet, but his idea landed really hard. I’ll skip to the end.
“Okay,” I said, “let’s go with it. Work up the numbers, and let’s see what happens.”
Call me a tease, then! But you can’t show the ending of a movie in the trailer, right?
Once we get everything pulled together, I’ll let you know.
Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:
Let me begin by saying how grateful I am for your engagement with the content. Your likes, comments, questions, and encouraging remarks keep me going, even on days when I'm pulled in multiple directions all at once.
I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.
Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just over $100 per month.
At this time, most of that cost is being covered by Patreon members like YOU.
While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!
I believe I have found ways to give you more exclusive content, while still making the site meaningful to visitors and passersby.
Again, thank you very, very much.
