GOOD MORNING

Good morning! We decided we’d go to an early worship service, then decide what to do after that. Honestly, it will probably just be a lazy day at the hotel before tomorrow’s giveback day at the food bank.

Jasmine and Micah made it home. They said that everything looks great with the remodel, but there are stickers up that the inspectors still need to sign off on. Micah added that there are still a lot of tools in the new areas, so he thinks there are a few things left to finish.

If you ask me, that sounds great!

Izzy and Kent made it back to New York as well. Like I said, as soon as we can, they’re going to come down to South Padre Island for another visit.

Last business point—Naomi Prior texted to say happy New Year and to tell us not to sell off any camera gear. More work, she said, is in the pipeline.

That’s about it for this morning. Next time you see me, I’ll probably be cross-legged on the bed with my MacBook in my lap.

Hope you find your way back here.

BLAME CLAY!

Indoor skydiving? Yeah…well, it was Clay’s idea.

This is a crazy-fun thing to do!The image I shared is from my first try. I think I did okay.

There’s a ton of physics going on, just to get me up off the ground. And also to keep me from bashing my head into the wall!

Here’s your basic physics lesson (they told us a lot more than this): Gravity pulls you down, creating a force we all know as weight. The force of the air pushing up has to be equal to the weight. That force is a function of the air speed and your cross-section.

There were formulas, but you can probably Google those!

All I know is that it’s really fun!

We’re taking turns, and I’m up next, so I’ll wrap this up. See you tonight!

GOOD NIGHT

I’m back in my room at the hotel. Tomorrow we’re heading to the food bank to help.

For the sake of perspective, I’ll reshare the Google Map image from last night. The food bank isn’t far from the hotel at all.

We’ll be helping out on Monday and Tuesday, then spending the night and driving home to South Padre Island on Wednesday. Then we can unpack, do a ton of laundry (we’ve done a little over the last two weeks, but there’s still going to be a lot!), then get ready for whatever happens next.

And… no… I don’t know what that will be. Maybe just another week of me sitting around the condo typing—who knows?

For now, I’ll call it a day.

May some days surprise you with fun adventures that give you energy for what’s ahead!

Good night.

Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:

Let me begin by saying how grateful I am for your engagement with the content. Your likes, comments, questions, and encouraging remarks keep me going, even on days when I'm pulled in multiple directions all at once.

I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.

Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just over $100 per month.

At this time, most of that cost is being covered by Patreon members like YOU.

While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!

I believe I have found ways to give you more exclusive content, while still making the site meaningful to visitors and passersby.

Again, thank you very, very much.
