HELPING OUT by Cindi Curtis
I’m really feeling great right now. I’m sitting with Jordan at her apartment, but what feels so good is that I’m helping Michael and her out.
Somehow, on New Year’s Eve, Michael left with Jordan’s iPad and left his behind. I think I mentioned I’m taking some PTO this week to get the house-buying ball rolling. I took an Uber to Michael’s condo, got the keys to his Jeep, picked up Jordan’s iPad and—here’s the little miracle—I made my way from downtown to Collierville without needing the Maps app!
We’re smiling in the picture, but a few minutes before the conversation was serious. Jordan told me she was worried ClearStream was about to be overwhelmed and would start losing out on big prospects.
“I wish I could help,” I said.
What they do just isn’t in my skill set. I can review what they write and see if the tech/coding content lines up with what I understand, but that’s about all.
She also said she was worried about Hayes. “Just as of last night… Since New Year’s Eve, I’ve never seen her happier, but last night she was on the phone with her mom. It was a little loud… ‘Mom… I know what I’m doing. Stop worrying. It will be fine.’”
I said I understood how moms can be, and she said, “Yeah… mine means well but it feels like interference.”
Jordan also told me she and Carter were working up a proposal for Michael, but she didn’t want to go into details until they had all the numbers crunched.
“Bottom line is,” Jordan said as she took her iPad and stood up, “we have more work than we can do, and something has to change.”
“Well, I’ll be sure to add that to my prayers…”
“Yeah,” Jordan said as she hugged me. “Prayer list, not anxiety list!”
“Absolutely!”
Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:
Let me begin by saying how grateful I am for your engagement with the content. Your likes, comments, questions, and encouraging remarks keep me going, even on days when I'm pulled in multiple directions all at once.
I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.
Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just over $100 per month.
At this time, most of that cost is being covered by Patreon members like YOU.
While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!
I believe I have found ways to give you more exclusive content, while still making the site meaningful to visitors and passersby.
Again, thank you very, very much.
