FRESH START by Cindi Curtis
FRESH START by Cindi Curtis—Greetings from another frozen day in Bartlett. The sun and clouds are taking turns outside my windows—high 26°F, it feels brighter today. The main roads are in good shape now, so driving isn’t too bad at all.
Last night, Michael came over and stayed until nearly midnight. We ended up down one of those YouTube rabbit holes, watching weather coverage from all across the country—snow in places that never get it, flooding somewhere else, sunshine in another.
In between videos, he told me all about the ClearStream work. I love hearing him talk about what he does—his focus, the way he cares, the quiet confidence. It settles something in me.
I’ve said it before, but it still surprises me how little I’ve needed lately. A warm house. Food. A skillet. A Keurig and a coffee mug. An air mattress. Clothes and linens. That’s been my world for a bit—and honestly, the simplicity has been such a beautiful reset.
Oh! I also have bananas again—yesterday’s Walmart run was a success!
But I can feel the shift. I’m ready to move forward. I’ll keep things simple, but furniture was invented for a reason. It’s time to get a few things. Michael and talked about which of his things we might move early and where they would go. More on that later.
All this quiet has made space in my heart, and this morning my thoughts landed again on this verse:
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” — 2 Corinthians 9:8
I love how that verse doesn’t promise everything I want, but all that I need. And not just for comfort—but so I can abound in good work. The blessings, the provisions, the peace—they’re not meant to stop with me. They’re meant to flow through me.
Even in a nearly empty house, I’ve had everything I’ve truly needed. Maybe fullness starts long before the rooms are filled.
Anyway, that’s my little frozen-morning reflection. Coffee is warm, the house is quiet, and the day is waiting.
Grateful for you, always.
Be your best you!

Thank-You Message to Paying Supporters:
It is my belief that most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. I am honored and greatly moved.
I know that I share a LOT of content FREE TO ALL. I'd imagine that you understand why. The stories about giving back and helping seem like they shouldn't be exclusive. Certain plot moments need to be understood by anyone trying to to follow the stories.
With that in mind, I always consider you, the paid members, when deciding how to share content.
My hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!
Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just over $100 per month.
Again, thank you very, very much.
