CALL IT A DARE by Cindi Curtis Allen
Michael read my post yesterday. I’m not sure he was fully in favor of the idea.
“Hey!” He laughed and pretended to be upset. “If you wear my clothes, I’ll have double the laundry to do!”I hadn’t thought of that. In light of that, the idea seems even better!
This morning in the bathroom he encouraged me—call it a dare?—to prove my point. He handed me a pair of leggings from the closet, smiling like a kid about to prank his brother or something.
“Honestly, I think it will be cute.”
So, my husband shifted from being an expert at PR and turned into a fashion consultant and fashion photographer.
“Now, hand on hip… yeah, good. Now, run your fingers through your hair!”
I laughed my way through it all!
We had way, way, way too much fun! I’ve got to think of some way to turn the tables and return the favor.
If anyone reading this can come up with a meaningful message, please share it!
Here’s the best I can come up with:
Sometimes you should play and have fun.
I’m going to take a verse mostly out of context for this one!
Psalm 149:3—Let them praise his name in the dance! Let them sing praises to him with tambourine and harp!

Message to Paying Supporters:
Thank you for helping support AGI Stories.
I always consider you—the paid members—when deciding how content is shared.
I believe that most of you who help with the costs do so because you want to support the production process and show encouragement. I’m honored and truly grateful.
At the time of this post (not counting hardware or internet costs), expenses run just over $100 per month—so every supporter truly makes a difference.
Nevertheless, I share a lot of content free to all. I believe you understand why. Stories about giving back and helping shouldn’t be exclusive, and key moments need to be accessible for anyone following the stories.
My hope is that sharing a few exclusive photos and small portions of some posts with you serves as a simple expression of gratitude.
With that in mind, again, thank you very much.
