GOOD MORNING

Happy Saturday to each of you! I’m going to have a busy day, so I grabbed a tank top for the selfie and headed to the kitchen.

I’m not going to take a lot of time, but I do want to start the day with a greeting to the many new followers. I’m very honored by your interest in this story!

Of course, those of you who have been a part of this for a long time—I can’t thank you enough! Your comments and messages mean so much to me.

The next two weeks promise to be a wild ride—starting tonight!

I mentioned before that Kirina wanted to host a party at her coffee-and-sandwich café, Sea Glass, and that happens tonight. Her plan is for all of the people from AGI Creative Group to meet all of the people from Shoreline Health and Wellness. It’s going to be a big gathering, and it promises to be a lot of fun.

Already, my modeling agent, Naomi Prior, has booked Jasmine, Kaylee, and me for a job on Monday. It’s a one-day round trip with around eight hours of work split between wardrobe, makeup, and being in front of the camera.

Also, Geoni and Josh are in the final stretch of their journey to adopt a child. They are expecting to finalize some things in the next week or two. In fact, they are making another trip next week.

And… Well, May 23 is the big day that’s been fifteen years in the making! Jason and I will get married that day here on South Padre Island.

So, if you are new to the Journal, you’re jumping into a lot of things happening fast!

TIME FLIES

You know how sometimes you get into a groove and everything is coming together just right? Then you look at the clock and hours have flown by!

I’ve made great progress this morning. As a writer, when this happens, it’s tough to just shut the laptop and hope to get back into the groove next time you open it. However, today’s plans call for me to do just that.

Since we are going over to Port Isabel anyway, Jason and I are going to the studio early to start tagging things to be packed into the various cases we’ll use for our traveling-studio setup. We’ll use colored electrical tape to indicate what goes together, and then tag the case with the matching color.

To be clearer, it’s really a color pattern. So, a pole that has stripes of red, green, and white tape goes into the case with the same color sequence. You get the idea.

We’ll do that for a while before Kirina’s party later. We told her we’d come over to Sea Glass a little early to help out however we can, so it will be a full afternoon.

Therefore, I need to get moving.

Hope you’re having a great Saturday. See you soon!

Message from AGI-Stories…

Jason's next chapter from the "Growing Up Jason" series will post separately a little after this one.

GOOD NIGHT

Saturday evening has arrived, and sure enough, everyone has gathered at Sea Glass. There are some other customers here, too, but our group is gathered near the front.

Kirina has what she calls her full staff hired now. She and Ricky manage things in shifts, and they have another young woman who runs some shifts. To be honest, Sea Glass is really doing well.

The pictures from tonight that I’m sharing are pretty typical party/gathering group shots. The next image is Josh and Geoni with Vanessa from the clinic and her boyfriend, David, who is an ER doctor at Valley Baptist Medical Center–Brownsville.

Jason and I had a chance to sit with them and learn about how they met. Fascinating and definitely romantic!

Dad rounded up Jasmine, Micah, Kaylee, and Isaac, handed Hudson to me, and had Jason go outside to take the picture. They are in the parking lot beside Sea Glass—which is also the AGI Studio parking lot.

I also got to meet Amir and Anika Kumar. They are the clinic’s medical directors and helped start putting it together.Isabela and Ricky Martinez posed with them. I remember meeting Ricky long ago when he delivered DoorDash to the condos.

The last picture is Clay, Sasha, Min, and Elias. I guess the “it’s a small world” rule applies here. I’ve volunteered with Elias at Sea Turtle Inc., where he works. He and Min, whom you probably remember from the scarves session, are dating.

Kirina wanted us all to mix and mingle so that we could get to know each other. She arranged a system in which everyone has a number and five of the tables have letters. Every fifteen minutes, we all move to different tables.

We’ve swapped three times now, and we’re about to have dinner. After we eat, we’ll swap a few more times. Really, it’s been great, and I’m looking forward to actually socializing with all the new people I’m meeting tonight.

With that, I’ll wrap things up.

May you find the time and opportunity to connect with the people around you, making new friends who will share your life in meaningful ways.

Good night.

Be your best you!

A message, and a thank you that follow are exclusive to supporters…

Message to Paying Supporters:

I want to say thank you for two things today.

First of all, for you support and encouragement. Patreon continues to provide a good percentage of the cost of producing content. Combined with earnings from Instagram, some months, I break even.

Secondly, I want to thank you for your patience in the midst of the sporadic content releases. I know I said this past week was supposed to be a return to normal, and for one day, it was.

The other days were interrupted by surprise meetings and unexpected trips taking my elderly mother to doctor appointments. I promise, I'm trying to keep everything going! Nothing is being purposefully marginalized.

In order to take no more time away from content creation, let me just go to my default closing…

Thank you for helping support AGI Stories.

I always consider you—the paid members—when deciding how content is shared.

I believe that most of you who help with the costs do so because you want to support the production process and show encouragement. I’m honored and truly grateful.

At the time of this post (not counting hardware or internet costs), expenses run just over $100 per month—so every supporter truly makes a difference.

Nevertheless, I share a lot of content free to all. I believe you understand why. Stories about giving back and helping shouldn’t be exclusive, and key moments need to be accessible for anyone following the stories.

My hope is that sharing a few exclusive photos and small portions of some posts with you serves as a simple expression of gratitude.

With that in mind, again, thank you very much.

GOOD NIGHT. So, thanks for all the group photos. Quite a shindig. So, now you know the story of David and Vanessa. Ok. Vanessa is really something. Glad you and Jason met Amir and Anika Kumar. They seem like earnest people, genuinely interested in making a difference in the community. And Isabela and Ricky Martinez, for whom I am so glad this has all turned out for them. Good people who just needed a break. And it happened. Yep, Elias and Min are off to a good start, I hope. I hope this relationship blossoms. This was a great way for people to mix and mingle. Thanks Kirina! Have a great evening, all. ⭐️.
