GOOD MORNING
Hey everyone. I thought I’d take my turn and check in.
School is good. I’m learning a lot, and I’m trying to remember that learning things and actually using what you learned are not always the same thing. Sometimes I read something for class and think, Okay, that makes sense, and then later I’ll be talking to somebody or thinking about life at Crossroads and realize I really do need to slow down and use what I’m being taught.
So far, I still think social work is what I want to do. The more I learn, the more it feels like the kind of work that makes sense to me. People have hard things happen, and sometimes what they need most is somebody who cares, listens, and helps them find the next step. I think I’d like to be that kind of person.
Me and Noah have been dating since February 14, so now it’s been just over three months. We’re happy. We’re taking things slow and trying to learn how to enjoy time with each other instead of acting like every minute has to turn into a big serious conversation.
Sometimes that just means sitting together with coffee and talking about our day. Sometimes it means taking a walk, or ending up in one of those little conversations where you start out talking about something simple and then somehow you’re talking about life, money, jobs, and what kind of future you hope you get to have. Sometimes we just laugh a lot. I think that counts for something too.
We still talk sometimes about what would happen if The Pay It Forward Society disappeared completely. We’ve thought about different ideas and different plans and what we’d do if we had to figure things out faster than we want to. But so far, everything is okay, and I’m thankful for that.
I guess that’s really my update. School is good. Noah is good. Life is not perfect, but it’s good, and I’m trying to notice that while I’m living it.
Thanks for reading my story!

Message to Paying Supporters:
Thank you for helping support AGI Stories.
I always consider you—the paid members—when deciding how content is shared.
I cannot say how much your support helps. Each of your contributions adds up and helps defray the cost of producing content. As of now, between donations here and Instagram monetization, most of the software costs are covered. Not quite all of them, but most…
Because of your generosity, I am able to keep going.
With that in mind, again, thank you very much.
