IT’S OURS by Sasha Everett

Nothing to see here… Just a proud homeowner standing in front of her new house. Yep! It’s ours!

It’s still early in the day, and some of the deliveries have already arrived. At some point, Ailana talked about the furniture swapping. The switcheroo is working out well, and by the end of the day, all the furniture should be where it’s going to end up.

At least in the right rooms. You know how it goes… “Clay, can you move the sofa over there?”

So everything went smoothly. The new house is directly across the street from the blue condo unit. In fact, you’ve probably seen it behind Ailana when she did her bedroom window posts from the first-floor unit.

Well, Jason and Ailana are moving up, and Emily is moving down to the second floor. Once they get back from Chicago, all three of them will be sharing the same home. And that was the whole point in doing this.

Clay and I now have a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home. The baby gets a new room plus, we’ll have a guest room.

Clay and I still plan to work in the living room here and in the second-floor AGI/SwimFit office across the street.

That’s about all I can think to say. Thanks for indulging my excitement.

WORKING WEEKENDS by Min Aurora

The schedule is chaos! I work all weekend. However, it’s now Friday, and I’m off. Everyone else I know is working. What can a girl do?

I decided on gas-station hot dogs for lunch and an afternoon on the beach.

Vanessa and Olivia are out in the mobile clinic…

Okay, we’ve been dancing around what to call the vehicle we use to run Shoreline Outreach. The word “rig” makes it sound like an ambulance. “Bus” just seems wrong all around.

It’s a converted RV.

We went through a bunch of ideas. Here’s the final answer.

Officially, it is the Shoreline Outreach Mobile Clinic. Period.

As in, “The Shoreline Outreach Mobile Clinic will be parked at the convention center tomorrow.”

But among friends, it’s going to be the rig. We’re going to call it the Shoreline Outreach rig or the mobile clinic rig. Or just the rig.

So that’s where Olivia and Vanessa are. They’re out on the mobile clinic rig in San Benito.

Elias is at work—but we have dinner plans.

In fact, we’re having a triple date night: Elias and me, Vanessa and David, and Olivia and Dan. We’re going to Viva.

I’d imagine it will be at least as good as gas-station hot dogs.

Hi Sasha, I remember the house that appears behind Ailana in her night post. Congratulations for your new house and, on the other hand Min, I'm glad you're off and some relax time is necessary. By the way, you look stunning on the beach. Have a nice day.

IT’S OURS by Sasha Everett. Hey Sasha! Thanks for posting. No problem indulging. Getting a new house ... is exciting! Sounds like you have a good plan of layout and use. But... do you have a swimming pool? Anyway, congratulations on your NEW HOME!

WORKING WEEKENDS by Min Aurora. Hello Min! Fresh news from you always welcome. It is kind of weird when you are off and everyone else is working, but when that happens, you get some time for yourself, which I see you have taken. Um. Why do you not just call it the Mobile Clinic? "The rig" kind of sounds like a construction vehicle. My two cents. Weeeeeell now. Triple date night?? Niiicce. That does sound like a pleasant evening. Hmm. You might have to give us a quick follow-up on that one. It sounds very interesting.
