GOOD MORNING by Ailana Geven Keller
Good morning. It’s almost my turn to get in the shower before church, but I wanted to try to clear up some confusion from yesterday’s good morning images.
The image Sasha shared of me was taken when I was standing by the balcony door. The image I shared was taken when I was standing over by the bed and window.
I hope that makes the images from yesterday make more sense.
After church, I’m having lunch with Meredith Sinclair, and then Geoni and I are going to take some more photos of her for future promotional material. Of course, we’ll talk about Cloudfall throughout the day, too.
There’s a lot going on around here right now, so I’m sure there are things happening that aren’t getting reported. Nothing world-changing… I should pick a day later this week and just do bullet points about everyone and what’s going on.
Now, I need to get into the shower so we can make it to church. I mentioned that Chapel by the Sea meets at 9:30 during the summer, so I need to get ready.
I’ll be back, like I said, after lunch when we’re shooting Meredith. See you then.

PROMO SHOTS by Ailana Geven Keller
Geoni, Meredith, and I stopped by the studio to change out some gear. Our goal is to build a solid, varied set of promotional shots of Meredith to use over the next few months.
I don’t think I’ve ever explained why we’re doing this. Obviously, we want to frontload some promo work for Cloudfall.
However, her publisher has said they will do a soft relaunch of her earlier series—The Orion Inquiry. Even if it doesn’t generate many new sales, it will put her name in front of her longtime fans, so when the new books start coming out, her name will already feel familiar.
We’re going to shoot several outfits in several locations. I’ve got a few to share already.
Meredith told me that Will, Paul, Tom, and Nick are wrapping up their planning weekend. She and Will have decided to get in a little beach time later, so we need to finish up here and leave her plenty of time.
I’ll close this chapter now so we can get back to work. See you tonight.
GOOD NIGHT by Ailana Geven Keller
Today felt like a success on many fronts. Meredith and I talked about Cloudfall so much that Geoni is ready to buy the series!
Geoni, I’ll add, had some interesting input. Meredith liked her ideas—little bonus angles on some of what we have planned. I also talked Geoni into applying her editing skills to our manuscript. She agreed, saying spelling is spelling and punctuation is punctuation, genre notwithstanding.
She’s right about that.
Tomorrow promises to be a somewhat typical Monday. That means there will be some work going on in the midst of all of the unusual details of the day.
Naomi and Steve are going to be condo hunting. They are actually very excited about the idea after looking around.
Emily is hosting Brooks and Jenna for a sleepover aboard Savannah’s Charm. You’ll recall the three of them picked Jasmine and Kaylee to be the adults for the night.
Jasmine came to me to let me know of a little change in the plan. “Emily says the girls will all crash in the saloon, so there are open staterooms. I tentatively invited the manager at the plant to spend the night with Kaylee and me. Sofia Torres… She and I talk every day and have become friends…”
Of course, I told her that would be perfectly fine.
She added, “We keep saying we want to hang out outside work. I thought this would be good.”
I told her I thought so, too.
I’ll close the chapter now.
May you thrive in the unusual details—the weather surprises, unexpected questions, new opportunities, changes in plans—that make life interesting.
Good night.
Be your best you!
