WHAT IT IS by Tyra Wilson

Y’all probably tired of hearing me talk about being hot, but that’s my life right now.I don’t know the last time the feels-like high for the day wasn’t over a hundred. Over 110 a lot of days.

I had to close at McDonald’s last night, so when I was done, I just slept in the lobby ‘til the openers got there. I’m off today and had to do some laundry, if you want to call it that.

I washed out what I need for tomorrow in the bathtub and hung it up on a line to dry.

I set the thermostat on 80 and said a prayer. It’s about 90 outside. 85 inside. Just hanging up my clothes worked me into a sweat.

I’m sorry this is all I got to talk about today, but it is what it is, I guess

The weather changed today, and it’s only supposed to get in the 90s for the next few days. I’ve made it through the worst of it. I’ll make it through this, too.

WHAT IT IS by Tyra Wilson. Hi Tyra. Thanks for the hello. Yes, it's hot all over. I also keep my dial 78 to 80 soon one can say I'm straining the grid. But, yes, it is really hot. Everybody is coping the best that they can. At least it was okay to sleep in the lobby rather than your sauna-fied apartment. You'll make it through. Then face the next challenge. Take care.
