Before the day was over, Ailana would physically be far, far from the beach. That, however, made little difference to her thoughts.

It had not been too many days since she had spent some time on the beach with Emily. And it had not been that long ago that she had taken a long walk and spent some time stretching. She was fond of the memories, but she was sure that once she was back home, the waves would be calling to her again.
