Samantha Tian

This is my favorite episode so far. When I first started this show, I never expected it to go in this direction. How they expanded on this was truly powerful.

Irena Kukule

With those heads, Zhao Ling not only cleared his record, but also helped General Wang with Advisor Li's threats to expose his illegal salt deals with those bandits. Now there's no one to prove that. This was an emotionally powerful episode, and many in this drama are like that. I must say — The Road to Splendor has gone way beyond what I ever expected it to be. I wanted to watch it for DYX, but everything about it is very captivating, pulls you in, and doesn't leave you indifferent. I really love how you swear at Yu Jingxiu all the time. That guy really gets on everyone's nerves. I read so many comments that describe exactly what you say. And that's just one of the things that makes this drama so good. We have very strong protagonists, but we also have equally strong villains. Everyone plays their part in this story perfectly. I must say, this is growing to compete for the status of my favourite drama this year. But well, we are just halfway, so a lot will depend on what's left.

This guy is so delusional, she doesn't want anything to do with you, you filthy thing. I really want this guy to die a satisfying death.

BANNO

I agree! The show has taken a turn I did not expect but I am here for it!!

BANNO

Yeah we need his downfall to come quickly!

BANNO

I agree the actor for Yu Jingxiu has done a phenomenal job! I would say overall the acting for the show has been very very good!

Pretty Doll

Ok my list of my most hated characters in this drama. 1- Yake 2-Jingxiu, this man is too arrogant. I’m going to need his family to be stripped of everything they got, being humiliated before he die. He’s going to be his family downfall.
