I wanted to listen to the Zeppelin together with you before sending it back. I think it is a nice speaker with decent sound quality but Bluetooth has issues, personally I definitely wouldn’t buy it. Maybe the recent Pro version is even better but I ordered the JBL Authentics 300 next to check how this will performs.

I would like to try some more serious speakers in future if I can afford buying them, enough Chinese boomboxes and outdoor bass tests as for now, I am already getting too old for this.

The recoding as I a bit softer than usual as I was playing the speakers at higher levels towards the end and wanted to avoid any clipping.

I have the authentic 300. I love the design and it also has wider perceived stereo going on too which I assume is 3d or sweaters facing off angle .. I don't actually know but I enjoy it . I think the volume and bass dials could of been better made , too plastic but better than all those touch button types. The speaker really delivers when plugged in .

I also have the Authentics 300. I think the sound is better trough wifi than bluetooth. It received a update in december, making more eq bands available.

Does the sound change from battery or is it just more powerful when plugged in?

Just got the Authentics 300 and it sounds very mono. Also the overall response is a bit kitchenradio like, as if a small radio with subwoofer was playing. In the app I didn’t find any options for any sound enhancements aside of the 3-band EQ

Totally opposite of what im hearing as I think its got lovely rich sound and because I downloaded minimum 320kps to lots of lossless flac recordings and I use poweramp app that has lots of listeners input tuning settings that i play around with depending on what style of music i play . Jbl has 7 band equaliser, though I don't use it.

Are you sure you don’t mean the 500? The 300 sounds horrid
