I prepared EQs for the Koss Porta Pro and the KSC75 which should allow for a more natural sound and also render my audio samples more faithfully.

Koss headphones just have tons of audible distortion, no EQ can fix them.

Hey, this was my suggestion! Pleasantly surprised, thank you Oluv! This should hopefully help expand your audience with the super-accessible price of the KOSS sets. You really can't beat them to this day for the money. As I said before, the KSC75 were my go-to headphones for a good 8 years. They really sound great for so cheap! And your EQ really makes them shine. The problem is what you mentioned -- the earpads eventually disintegrate, or the fragile wire breaks. But for $25 or whatever (they USED to be like $12 shipped), you just can't beat them.

I got a fun suggestion. Would like to see if you can improve a closed back headphone like the ATH-M50x or the K371 or any other closed back headphone that you can find and improve. It’s just a fun suggestion.

Thinking about getting the Porta Pro now even tho KSC 75 sounds nicer in this video, is there any difference between the original blue version and this version from drop which is called Pro X for some reason?

You should hear a real set of koss, I have a pair of KSC75 and KPH30i and they both have lots of audible distortion

Depends on the content loudness and eq. But i haven’t noticed anything serious with mine. Was using the KSC75 for monitoring lately

I wonder if I'm particularly sensitive to distortion, because the DMS Omega also has audible distortion at higher volumes in some songs, and no reviewer ever commented on that

I prefer porta pro's with your EQ than KSC 75.
