I was on the same page...had the MR3 but connection was not stable and it wasn't a great user experience with the extra cables. Now that is has USB-C and it connects wireless, I definitely want to have it! Yes, it's expensive, but there is no other serious competition. And the great thing is: you can use 1 as portable speaker, 2 in stereo on your desk or whatever, and 2.1 with sub for a full system. Amazing!

It sounded weird with normal tracks as well.

You can also controll the deep bass and upper bass from rhe sub in the app its worth trying it when you're outside

They sound amazing here... Can you also compare them with the Uboom X, Helsinki and Neumanns please? (there should also be that studio mode in the app)

They definitely sound great, but keeping three separate devices paired and charged feels like too much hassle for something that costs €600. The battery also isn’t user-replaceable, and they’re only splashproof, while the Xtreme 5 feels much more rugged and has an easily swappable battery. With the Xtreme 5, you can even carry extra batteries and swap them in whenever you need to. On top of that, there’s no Auracast, and the app doesn’t really inspire much confidence either. The bass also doesn’t sound as deep, which makes sense with just a single 70 mm subwoofer driver. Overall, this seems more like a setup for people who are willing to deal with a lot of extra hassle just to get a slight improvement in sound quality. If i am outside in my garden enjoying the scenery, i dont really care about a perfect soundstage and stereo setup. Just some chill background tunes are enough. And if i invite friends, i dont wanna be that nerdy guy, fiddling around with the speakers to pair them on start, or troubleshoot them, if they loose connection after a few hours. IMHO, its a very expensive setup for a real small use case.
