On Saturday night, I had a horde of cartoonists over to my house for dinner, followed by a 2-hour figure drawing session led by yours truly.

Before they arrived, I'd pulled out a deep drawer FULL of old figure drawings, and set it next to a wide table so they could peruse after dinner. When I told them Brittany was my favorite model, someone said "yeah, we can tell."

So, lucky me, we had Brittany back last night for the first time in a couple of months! Started with 5-minute warmups as always...

And then into the long pose:

... except, after 20 minutes... her left leg went completely numb.

We encouraged her to pick a different pose, which, luckily, I preferred:

I prefer any pose that looks comfortable. Or dramatic. Or, even better, both, which I feel this one was. (Not super dramatic, but capable of supporting an emotion.)

I loved the sketch and worried it wouldn't translate to the final page...

It translated differently, but I still liked it.

Progress shots!

And final scan:

And some closeups:

I liked how the knee on the left (right leg) came out! The left one, ehhhh I tried.

Like the last figure drawing piece, this one will be priced a little higher to include the sketch, since I liked it so much. You can buy the bundle here if you're interested, and it'll be $50 total instead of $100 as long as you use your Patreon code ARTNERD50 at checkout. :) Thanks for helping to fund these sessions for us!!

My 2-hour session on Saturday was partially clothed (and I wrote a daily comic about it), so I'm going to share the few sketches I made during the session with all Patreon tiers tomorrow for the daily comic post, instead of keeping it just here for you Art Nerds. See you then!

The color is so nice and I love the boobsquish! It's just so casually yeah life with boobs. And that one knee is indeed great, despite the weirdness of the other one, hehe.

The boobsquish is the part that made me go OH YES this is a much superior pose to the first one! I think I just love asymmetry in poses, and real reactions to the environment in flesh. :) (Thanks as always! <3 )
