I FINALLY received the last puzzle sample yesterday, this time from Portland Puzzle Company, and this puzzle is THE BEST BY FAR! Big, vibrant, fun shapes, great box, resealable bag. It's perfect and preorders are now open!

They're $42 for one puzzle or $38 each for two. Shipping is almost $20 (holiday prices, yeesh!) but it'll be the same price whether you order one or two of them. AND, if you're local, I'm happy to skip the shipping hassle and do a local pickup (to be determined); just type LOCAL at checkout for free shipping and I'll be in touch about when/where to pick up when the puzzles arrive.

If you're buying yours for Christmas gifts, make sure you write CHRISTMAS or HOLIDAYS or something in the note to seller! The puzzle company is estimating over a month production time, so fingers crossed we'll have them in early December, but I want to be able to get in touch with you if there are any unexpected delays so you're not ass-out without a gift for your sweetie at the last minute!

Big thanks to my friend Karli who came over on a moment's notice to help me put this baby together last night and compare to the other two puzzle samples!

Tbh, it was the winner the moment it arrived. This is the best one.

Preorders are here, have at it!!

This looks awesome! Would be very interested to know if/when any international orders could happen!

Skyeanna Malito

It looks amazing! I usually don't do 500s, but I will absolutely make an exception for this.

dcorsetto

Ooh are you normally a 1,000 piece gal? I'm thinking about future puzzles and wondering if I should lean into the big boys!

dcorsetto

Shoot me a quick email here! dcorsetto@gmail.com I'll put ya in a list for January international orders. :)

Skyeanna Malito

Yes! Though the first puzzle my husband and I did together when we started dating was 2000 pieces (and it was missing one single piece).

dcorsetto

Two thooooousand!! I just clutched my chest! (Can you tell I'm new to puzzling?!)

Skyeanna Malito

It gets almost addictive! I haven't done a puzzle in years because I have cats and kids, but I'm excited to do this one!

dcorsetto

Thanks for lowering your impressive puzzle standards for this one!! šŸ˜‚

Ken

In for two! Thanks D. And yes larger piece counts are a go here too.

dcorsetto

Thanks, Ken!! And: noted for next year. :)

My parents had a puzzle that was DEFINITELY missing lots of pieces and for some reason I remember it as a *TEN THOUSAND* piecer but that can't possibly be right...??? but I worked on it for too long to have the number wrong??? =| and I wish I could go back and do it again anyway if only to figure out how many pieces are missing but I think that would just make me mad all over again haha

Minzoku Bokumetsu

though, now that I look, there's an 18000 on Amazon but the measurements don't sound right (19" x 14"? are the pieces microscopic??)

Minzoku Bokumetsu

Pre-ordered, laughing a bit since there was still apparently stuff in my cart when I went to order?? (I only got one of the "bonus" things)

Skyeanna Malito

Those puzzles are huuuuuuuge! My friend did one and it took up her entire living room floor!

Indira

Completely unrelated but the GWS rss feed seems to be busted. It hasn’t updated all week and now my rss reader gives me an error when I try to open the feed at all šŸ™

dcorsetto

Thank you, Indira! I've emailed Hiveworks about it but no answer. I just sent them another email. I really wish there was something I could do on my end; hang tight!!

Trebuchet

I'd like to work puzzles. But we have a very active cat. And two other cats as well.

If you mind if I ask what RSS program you use? I used to follow all of my favorite webcomics back in the Google Reader era, then I switched to Feedly, but it wasn't the same.

Indira

I use Feedly unfortunately for you. I was already using it as my preferred rss app when google reader was still a thing, because I didn’t like any of the available google reader apps. When reader ended I no longer looked at rss in my pc and just continued using Feedly
