Studio Tour Livestream! How should I do it?? (Patreon)

TL;DR: I'm doing a live virtual studio tour just for patrons this weekend, scroll down and vote on the stuff you want!

Hey gang! If you like watching livestreams, or you like making livestreams, this post is for you! I need your help.

Before lockdown, I was chosen to be included in this year's Over The Mountain Studio Tour. Every November, about a dozen local artists in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia open their studios to the public for a weekend. Art lovers come for the weekend to visit the artists they like, both to purchase their art and to check out their workspace, with the opportunity to ask the artist about their craft (and sometimes, to watch the artists at work).

This year, of course, our tour will be virtual. The "Old Guard" studio tour artists have never done this before. So I offered to play guinea pig and do a virtual studio tour for my patrons, because I figured you guys wouldn't mind being guinea pigs as well. ;)

But... I know literally nothing about livestreaming. I'm not even sure if it's one or two words. So I need your opinions on:

• a day and time for my patron-only guinea pig livestream
• livestream platform options
• what you'd like to see on the livestream

I especially need help with the livestream platform! We have a few requirements:

• free for participants (preferably free for us to host, too, but we do have a budget)
• live comments
• EASY for the general public (especially older folks) to figure out & comment
• easy for me to set up and use (pretend I'm your grandma)
• recorded so we can share with people later

The poll starts with which day & time you'd prefer (I'll be doing it this week!). You can choose as many of the options below as you'd like, so go nuts and be honest! Also please feel free to elaborate in the comments below.

Thanks so much for your help, team!! I think this'll be fun. :)
