I love I answer, about cleaning the pool. And yes, true about who is president. It was why we ended up getting married just after Trump was elected, just in case he did something to gay marriages when he took control.

I love the way this conversation highlights all the differences between Meighan and Berto that they clearly haven't explored enough - not just Berto's immigration status, but Meighan still not realizing what a precarious situation it can be, plus their ideas of what "rich" means. There are also hints that their wedding planning might be rocky. I'll be very interested to see if their relationship tanks over the course of the series, or whether they'll be able to communicate and build on the love they have for each other until they come out stronger for it.
