Oh, wow. I did NOT expect to feel so deeply for the characters right out of the gate, but here I am, already emotionally invested in Adama, Roslin, Starbuck, and even Gaius in his chaotic genius way. The tone was absolutely haunting. There was so much weight in every decision, and the show did such an incredible job at capturing that sense of looming collapse through pure human emotion. And the Cylons being indistinguishable from humans? Oh boy. It raises soooo many philosophical and moral questions that I can already tell this series is going to explore deeply (and I'm totally here for it!).I think what excites me the most is that this story has sooo much potential going forward. It feels like it's about identity, faith, trust, and what it really means to be human when everything around is crumbling. And I absolutely can't wait for Season 1 with you all. If the miniseries is any indication, I'm in for one heck of a journey! Thank you for your support on Patreon!Relax and enjoy 🍿🌿LINK: https://youtu.be/YTW1j2Q-SMkI watched this on Amazon Prime

Battlestar Galactica: The Miniseries | Watch Along

Welcome in! 🌿 Grab a drink and get settled in! I tried to make sure to add more sync points and one where the two episodes split! I watched this on Amazon as one long video.

Oh I’m sooooooo incredibly happy you loved the Mini-Series! Best news I’ve seen all day cause I was a lil nervous about how you would come out of this episode with feeling or not feeling about the characters in the show so to hear you are already invested in so many characters is amazing to read! I’m about to watch it with you right now! Btw for anyone watching along Part I of the Mini-Series should end at the 1:33:37 Edit: just watch out for when Kali shows the sync copy now water mark and that’s where Part II begins. At the 14:45 mark there was a Firefly ship outside the window before Roslin is told the news by the doctor. Around the 1:10:20 mark… No Kali I don’t think that makes you selfish, It makes you human.

SweetSummit

Let's f***ing goooo! :) That's my next three hours sorted.

Farbod

Oh boy. Gonna be a fun ride.

Wil Castillo

I never seen this show and I don't even know what it's about, but I've heard so many good things about it. I'm planning on watching the whole series with you all.

Phil Stubblefield

I was gonna say exactly the same thing, so I'll just second Will! 😊

SweetSummit

So Mass Effect connections, Colonel Tigh was the voice of Captain/Commander Bailey and the blonde Cylon was the voice of EDI.

kaliwali

WHAT! I can't wait to watch the show knowing this and pick up on their voices now 👀🔥

kaliwali

I hope you're enjoying it!! I absolutely LOVED this miniseries. I can't wait to jump into Season 1 now 🔥🤯

kaliwali

Ahh, that's awesome!! I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you're thinking about it as we move through it. So far, I absolutely loved this Miniseries. It made me extreeemely excited to jump into Season 1! 👀🤍

Russell Rutigliano

Oh I am very much enjoying it. I’m up to the part where Gaius (Dr. Baltar) is talking to #6 inside Colonial One. I LOVE those interactions in the mini series! The one on the Battlestar coming up in a bit is hilarious LOL. Gaius is one of my favorite characters. Edit: Oh btw in the 1978 original Starbuck was a dude not a lady and I honestly can’t imagine Starbuck not being a Woman now. Katee Sackhoff is incredible as Starbuck.

Dude Longcouch

This was one I always meant to watch but just never made the time, so I'll be watching blindly along with you. As a space and sci-fi nerd, I have high expectations, but based on everything I've heard, they shall all be met. Let's get started!

Dude Longcouch

For the record I'm still butthurt that Buffy didn't win ;) Hopefully next time.

SweetSummit

As a huge Buffy fan myself, I hope she will do that next. But very happy with BSG.

Lastboyscout73

So, I was a little kid when the 1st BSG came out in 1978. It only lasted 2 seasons I think. Of course, it was not nearly as serious as this version but from a kid's perspective, it was great and I was hooked. This show is made for more adult sci-fi lovers and is a great re-imagining of the original series. I do love the easter eggs at the beginning when they were showing some of the museum exhibits because they were how the Cylons looked on the original show. Also, the Vipers that were not affected by the Cylon weapon that shut down their systems are almost exactly like the original versions of the OG show. I really like how they honored the OG with those added details. There are new cast names also but Apollo, Boomer, Starbuck, Commander Adama, Colonel Tigh, Balter and even Boxey (the kid) are names from the original show. If you get curious you can google Battlestar Galactica 1978 and look at the difference but maybe wait till after your done with the series? It had the same plot as the mini-series you just watched but it was way different in tone.

And here we go! I love that within the first 5 minutes you're already making Mass Effect references haha. Because I couldn't stop comparing this whole situation with the Quarians! Creating their own AI, who force them to flee their home world. Surviving as a conglomeration of ships without a 'home'. Really loving the diversity of characters in this, and like you said all their 'human-ness'. Adama, the way he leads and his speeches are amazing. And Gaius reminds me of a more crazy Kamski (from Detroit Become Human) haha. Actually I take that back, Kamski was a nutcase LOL so these two would be best friends The stakes of this whole situation make things so interesting. Literally that they're the last of the human race, it makes all the choices, consequences and sacrifices all the more impactful. And this show really made us feel the weight of each of those. For the religion and the Cylons, I'm purely speculating here since I'm as blind as you are going through this, but I couldn't help but think of Detroit. And how the awakened androids had their RA9 'savior' beliefs. So I could see the Cylons as a rogue AI developing some sort of higher belief. We still also don't know why they turned on the humans in the first place. So I'm really interested to see where they go with that Also, as someone who's watched a lot of sci-fi, I have to say the effects and space fight scenes (especially for a TV show) are so good! I love how maneuverable not just the little Vipers are, but even the big cruisers haha. Thanks for the reaction! Super excited to continue discovering this story and world with you!

SultanOfSwing

You are in for quite the adventure!

M1 Maz

Okay I KNEW he sounded sooo familiar from Mass Effect, but just couldn't place it, and it was eating at me LOL. So thank you for this

Marty McGee

He'll always be General Tullius from Skyrim to me. "You started this war. Now the Empire is going to put you down!"

SweetSummit

He's also the doctor at the start of Fallout New Vegas.

Marty McGee

So glad you enjoyed it. I watched this when it first aired and was hooked from the beginning. We unfortunately had a long wait from the mini-series to the start of season 1 and I was worried if the show would be as good. I think you'll find it only gets better! You're spot on about the way it portrays the humanity of all the characters. This show does not shy away ever about how we treat each other, both good and bad. And yes it delves into a lot of philosophy, religion, love, sex, government, military, and pretty much any other topics that are relevant to the human race. It goes pretty far out sometimes. Especially in later seasons. But it's always anchored in the human story and that's why I love it so much! Can't wait to go on this journey with you! Also interesting catch on Boomer's eye-roll. In the dozen or so times I've seen this I never picked up anything sinister in that. It's so subtle that I wonder if it was intentional or just something the actor did in the moment. Really cool observation though.

Ron A

This is PEAK scifi. i love the dual view of the Military leadership of Commander Adama and the Civilian Goverment lead by Pres. Laura Roslin, it sets the series up for great internal conflict, and the fact that they can never know if there is a Cylone in their ranks. there are 12 models.. and we have only seen 4 Humanoid cylons. It has been years since i have seen this series, and its one of the absolute best scifi series out there.. i love the focus on Philosophy, Humanity, religion and internal struggle and strife. the fact that the show leans into the gray of important decitions.. there is no black and white in the univers.. decitions have real consequenses. Love that you are reacting to this.. you will love it. P.S. The CGI, practical VFX and sets look great for the time this was made.

Joe

Such a great show and I am so excited to watch the show a second time through your reactions. There is already so much I noticed on this rewatch, most that I cannot mention to avoid tipping off and a lot that I forgot because I watched this show 20 years ago (yikes!). One thing that stuck out to me was the blonde cylon killing that baby. When I first saw it, it seemed like a psychotic act by someone who was later revealed to be a heartless robot. But based on the connection she seemed to have to the baby and her expression after, this time it appeared as an act of compassion knowing that the world was about to be violently attacked and she gave the baby a quick death. Not sure which it was really, but it was a shocking moment either way. I hope you continue to enjoy the show and that it stays available on streaming. By the way, you will know you're really into it when you start saying "frak" in your head when you feel like you want to swear. And as you can probably guess, "frak" was a relic of the original series in the 70s to avoid censorship.

Bernie Zwicky

I remember watching the original Battlestar Galactica, which was definitely more family friendly…sort of like the original Star Trek was, and enjoying every episode! It’s so interesting to see so much of that original show in this one. From ship designs to character names, it’s like the show has been reborn into adulthood…hope you enjoy the journey 😊

Michael Kemmet

In case you didn't know, Movie Night with Jacqui is doing Buffy right now. Currently a Patreon exclusive, she's in early season 2 and is dropping about one episode a week. She plans to eventually go to two a week.

Michael Kemmet

I don't know if this background info helps or hurts, but much of the mythos of the original show is tied to the Mormon religion. Jewish faith believes there were originally 12 Tribes of Israel. Roughly 2800 years ago, ten of the tribes were forcibly relocated and are known as the Ten Lost Tribes. Mormons believe that either a lost Thirteenth Tribe, or fragments from one of the other ten, managed to cross an ocean and settle in North America. As a side note, Kolob is a star or planet referenced in one of the Mormons' holy books. Kobol in BSG is an anagram of it. The original creator(Glen A. Larson) was a Mormon and used his religion as inspiration for the 1978 TV show. The 2004 reimagining isn't meant to be real-world religious per se, but there are echoes since they try to use so much from the original series. So if the religion in the show ever starts to sound a little familiar to something you've heard of in real life(like the 12 Colonies being named after the astrological zodiac), that's just because it is. :)

McShades

I think it was more of the fact that she hadn't seen babies before and was puzzled by the baby, I remember her asking the question about the baby's head and neck, I think killing of the baby was accidental. When the neck snapped, she did have a look of shock on her face.

McShades

Like streaming, I don't think it's proper etiquette to promote other people who do reaction videos in someone else's forum.

Joe

You may be right. It seemed purposeful and you think she would know by now having been around humans for so long. but I’ll watch again when I get a chance. It is such an interesting way to introduce a character.

KJ

Great reaction and post mini series commentary. Thank you for essentially binging four episodes worth of television 😂 it's a show that can easily become a new hyper fixation. It's no coincidence the mini series was first broadcast just a couple of years after the 9/11 attacks. Sci Fi is able to reflect and examine the mood of the time it's produced in, without having to be too on the nose. The world reels after a devestating event - how does everyone it affects pick themselves up and learn to move on? Do we also become paranoid about who our neighbours might be? How do we deal with a new era of fanaticism? The main characters are so great especially Commander Adama and President Roslin establishing themselves as the foundation. Gaius Baltar is also fascinating: he's clearly a genius, but I've heard it said there's a fine line between genius and madness, and with Baltar that line is cracking. He's also a complete narcissist. Is there a chip in his brain broadcasting a cylon image into his consciousness? (fans often refer to this cylon as 'Head Six') or is she a way for Baltar to compartmentalise and work things out after such a traumatic event? Or is she something else? Is Baltar being instructed over what's happening and what to do next, or is it just a way for his genius intuition to work things out (eg spotting the cylon device, choosing Doral as the scapegoat etc). So great to watch and guess and second guess this character 😂 So out of the 12 cylon models, we've been revealed 4: 'Six', Leoben (brilliantly creepy), Doral and Boomer. I think the numbers get revealed later. The 'Six' we saw intimate with Baltar on Caprica tends to be referred by fans specifically as 'Caprica Six'. I do wonder if near the beginning, Caprica Six killed the baby on purpose or by accident. It's never revealed. It could be a tragedy from naive curiosity. It could be a tragedy that's also a mercy, sparing the baby from the oncoming nuclear attacks. All these characters are complex, not just the humans. So looking forward to you starting the main show!

Cory Stanish

Like I said in the poll comments, I haven't rewatched this since it was originally on TV, and now you've given me the perfect excuse to make time for it. Watching this with you was like going back to see old friends! One of my favorite things about the show is how they applied the sci-fi elements as sparingly as possible. Like... they have spaceships with artificial gravity and advanced robots with Artificial General Intelligence, and FTL travel, but their guns shoot bullets and they don't have a cure for cancer. It really helps to keep the show grounded amidst all the sci-fi craziness. I also like that they're not afraid to explore gray areas and the kind of ethical and moral conundrums you'd find yourself in if you were in this situation. One of my other favorite things about this show was watching it with friends and then having a lengthy discussion/debate about the implications of what happened.

Cory Stanish

I remember watching the original show as a little kid too. We had Battlestar Galactica toys and everything. I still have a couple of the old action figures and there was a toy that was a model of the Galactica which was basically a giant slingshot designed to launch these little foam gliders that were shaped like Vipers.

kaliwali

I'm so excited that a few of you here are also starting this journey with me! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! After this miniseries, I think I'm gonna absolutely fall for this show lol And yes, hopefully next time for Buffy! I will be getting to it eeeventually for sure :)

kaliwali

After watching the intro you sent on Discord, I'm so jealous lol. It must have been a wild ride back then. It's awesome how the reimagined series ketp those subtle nods to the OG, like the classic Cylon designs and the Vipers. I love that. Now looking at the museum scenes, I didn't realize how deep those callbacks actually went- that's awesome!!

kaliwali

Yesssss! So many ME references lol. AND I saw you commented on the Voice Actors from ME being in this show. I can't wait to hear it now! 🤣 It was impossible not to see the parallels with the Quarians lol. The whole "fleeing your own creations, living on a flotilla of ships" storyline had me constantly thinking of ME. And YES the diversity of characters here is so refreshing! They all come with their own set of baggage and faults, and I absolutely love that. Adama has that quiet gravitas that gives me chills when he speaks, every single time lol. Adn Gaius with the Kamski comparison LOL. Gaius feels more accidentally chaotic for sure, whereas Kamski was just intentionally unnerving bahaha. Still, I'd 100% watch a spinoff of those two have a weird philosophy podcast together 😂 I can't wait to get into this Series after a miniseries like this! Now I see why you were so excited everytime you mentioned how awesome it's been for you so far!!!

kaliwali

I can only imagine how tough the wait was.. especially after an opening like that! So it's really reassuring that it only gets better from here because I'm definitely hooked. I really love how much this show leans into the complexity of human nature. It feels right up my alley! I'm glad that it doesn't flinch away from the hard stuff. And it makes me excited knowing that it explores all of those deeper themes even more as the series progresses! The eye roll moment just pinged something in me haha. it was so quick, but it felt loaded. Could be from my own personal experience, but I just noticed right away. Whether it was intentional or not, it's amazing this show rewards paying close attention. Can't wait to dive into Season 1 now!!! Glad you're excited for the journey too :)

kaliwali

I was honestly blown away by how well the visuals held up! The mix of practical sets and CGI gives everything a really grounded feel. And it's really clear how much love and care went into world building! This miniseries delivered SO much to look forward to going into the series. I can't wait to keep diving into all of the complexity with y'all!

kaliwali

That moment with the blonde Cylon and the baby definitely shook me. At first I had the same feelings- wow, that was cold and calculated." but then her facial expression didn't really add up with that. Your take on it possibly being mercy is very interesting! And YES the "frak" hahaha. I have a feeling that will come with time as I watch it. As you know, I don't really curse and this might just be a new one in my vocabulary 🤣🤣 I'm glad you're excited to rewatch this one with me! I definitely can't wait for Season 1 now

kaliwali

Ahhh, that's fascinating. Thank you for sharing that context! No idea that BSG pulled so heavily from Mormon theology, and it really does add a whole new layer to how I think about the Twelve Colonies and their mythos. Also the Kolob/Kobol connection is wild! Never would have picked up on that!

kaliwali

Haha yes! I definitely dove in headfirst with this 3 hour long Miniseries. And now I totally get why this could become a hyperfixation. There is already SO much to think about 👀 So, when I was watching 9/11 came to mind. It's hard for it not to sometimes when things like this happen. So it makes a lot of sense now that they felt the post-9/11 era in this filming. The grief, the paranoia, the question of identity and who we trust. Adama and Roslin already feel like such steady anchors in the chaos and I absolutely LOVE their differing styles of leadership. The tension between the military and government is such a great way to bring drama and ethical complexity into a show and it's already got my brain spinning. And Gaius! I love how I can't figure him out even after 3 hours on screen lol. I feel like he just walks that fine line between brilliance and complete madness. And the "head six" dynamic is crazy! Is she a projection, a voice, a chip, a trauma response? Watching him flip between coward to accidental genius is amazing haha. I also wonder about the baby scene. It was super haunting and I can't help but keep thinking back to it. None of the answers feel easy, either way. But the ambiguity is what makes these characters feel super layered and real and I love it. Can't wait to jump into Season 1 now!!!!

kaliwali

Ahh it's awesome that this rewatch is bringing back that feeling of reconnecting with old friends!! I feel like that speaks volumes to how well these characters and stories were built and makes me even more excited to dive in! I think your favorite thing is also mine! I love how they let the world feel advanced without ever really pulling focus away from the very human struggles at the center of it all. That contrast with space battles and FTL jumps alongside bullets and cancer- makes everything feel so real! It's futuristic but yet it never really disconnects us completely from reality and THAT is what makes this first look incredible. I'm also with you on the gray areas. This show definitely doesn't shy away from them and I love it for that. It challenges you to sit with those uncomfortable tough questions which I really appreciate. I love when a game or a movie/show makes you stop and pause for a moment and think/talk about what just happened. Very much looking forward to this journey now!! Thanks for joining me in it!

Wil Castillo

So, I finished this miniseries and I am hooked! It's really good and I just can't wait to explore this universe. I'm excited to see what's next in the coming episodes.

Tim C

Just about to dive in - then I noticed that BSG is leaving Prime on May 1st. I see now you mention that in the intro! I'd really recommend the Blu Ray Complete Series set! It's got everything, both broadcast and extended versions (for those episodes that got extended versions), and the supplemental "movies" that aired in-between the seasons. It would be everything you need.

McShades

That's true, she had been on Caprica for 2 years, but I think most of her time was concentrating on manipulating Baltar to get to the Defense Computers, at least it seemed that way when she asked to hold the baby, like she's never held one before, that's when she made the comment about the fragile neck, I think her curiosity is what ended up killing the baby, sadly. When she walked away, she did seem upset with herself. But yeah, there is definitely different ways to view it, I think the writers did that on purpose to get people to discuss the different parts of the show and its characters.

McShades

Sadly, the CGI from a show 20 years old looks better than some of the new CGI. I feel like a lot of studios have been cutting the costs of CGI which results in poor looking special effects. Plus so many movies now require CGI, there probably isn't enough CGI people to work on all the projects properly, they cut corners to save time and money. If you get a chance on Disney+ they have Industrial Light And Magic, a studio George Lucas created for CGI, for the longest time they were the only game in town. Lucas had to create so much of the technology in order to do his Star Wars films. It's a great watch, although you'll probably want to watch the Star Wars movies/shows before you watch the document series.

kaliwali

I was wondering if it would maybe move to another platform like Peacock or something.. But I'm not really sure how to find that out. Looks like I'll be needing the Blu Ray complete series though! Hopefully this won't affect those that don't have the Blu-Ray set 😿

Ron A

Yes, that documentary is grat.. and you are right, many film and tv companies cut corners on CGI. i remember when "Life of Pi" won an Oscar for best visual effects.. and the studio behind the effect went out of buisness as they gave their speach during the oscars.. because most VFX and CGI studios are underpaid and overworked in todays movie industry.. its a really sad story.. if you are interested you can watch a short documentary on YT for free... its called "life after PI".. it shines a light on how and why the VFX industries are struggling... this is why there are so many series and movies that look much worse today then Battlestar Galactica does

Ron A

totally agree KaliWali, i love that grounded feel on BSG. and the small touches with old analog displays and stuff.. like a analog switch that shows Red or green when they launch the pilots.. it would have been so much easier to have a small digital display instead of making small touches like that apart of the sets.. makes Galactica feel and look real.. and the old hardwired phones they speak in.. and on the bridge they have analog maps, like you would see in old WW2 battleships. i love this show and its detailed worldbuilding. I am so glad you watched the miniseries, i commented on it when you put out the poll on what series to watch next.. and i was really afraid you did not read my comment and was skipping the mini series.. but looking forward to the rest of the show

The Dingo

My take: these people aren't from Earth; they are from another planet and Earth is a myth for them. This means they developed their own culture and religion. They never had Christianity, so the God you know isn't known by these people at all.

Tim C

Just finished the reaction, and it was excellent! The good news is that you're embarking on an amazing, epic journey. The bad news is that soon you'll look back on the events of the mini-series and think of them as "the good days" :D I joke of course, but there are some dark times ahead. There's also well-written stories filled with complex characters and many fascinating elements of the BSG world to discover! One of the things that makes BSG special is that it really leans in to the gray areas. The writers never take the easy way out, are not afraid to tackle really difficult topics, and always leave you something to think about. I suspect you'll often be saying, "well, both sides kinda have a point..." Here's a few fun non-spoilery trivia bits: * Did you spot the Serenity? It wasn't mentioned in the reaction, but you might have seen it during editing. It appears in the sky during the establishing shot of Roslin in the doctor's office, around 14:38. Also, that has got to be the most ridiculous doctor's office I've ever seen. :D I don't know if I'd feel comfortable discussing personal medical stuff in a concrete auditorium. * The director of the mini-series decided to add in kind of an "in-joke" during production that the producers called a "nuisance" as the show went on. Apparently, the budget for the mini-series was tight, forcing the production into some tough choices. The director felt they were really being pushed to "cut corners"... so he literally had all the corners cut off of the paper elements within the show! It was an interesting choice and everyone thought it "was a neat idea at the time", but it would go on to cause the show to spend much more in future seasons to maintain that design element. Instead of being able to use off-the-shelf paper products, they would have to have them all created from scratch. But, I think it does give the show a unique style! * Every actor in the show is brilliant, and you'll see that as we go. Many of the actors are veterans, but BSG was Tricia Helfer's (Number Six) first real acting job. Prior to BSG, she was primarily known as a model and had only done a handful of short bit-part roles. In fact, she had only been pursuing acting for less than 3 years! The network wasn't sure about giving such a significant role to someone with so little experience, but she quickly dismissed any fears with her exceptional ability. * File this away until you have completed the show: Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck) now hosts an amazing podcast, on which many BSG alums have discussed the show. It is excellent! I'd highly recommend the episode she has with Tricia Helfer. During the production of the show they became (and remain) close friends. Both are great story tellers, and super interesting! I think you'd really enjoy it, but it's naturally filled to the brim with spoilers. It does make a nice little uplifting bonus to look forward to though. When you're ready, it's available on YouTube. I'm looking forward to the future episodes, and I really hope you enjoy the ride!

kaliwali

AHH awesome trivia bits, thank you so much for sharing!!! You know, I noticed that ship looked just like Serenity but I didn't want to sound dumb lol. Sometimes I need to just speak my mind 😂👀 And after your other trivia bits, I absolutely cannot wait to get into Season 1! I'm very excited for this adventure to begin and I honestly went back and rewatching this Miniseries last night 🤣✨ See you there!

Temujin

I can't believe BSG beat out Buffy. Hopefully you'll get to Buffy soon

Brina Blue

I think a lot of the fandom believe that Six felt sorry for the baby and what it was about to have to go though so she decided to put it out of its misery. It explains the unexpected expression on her face afterword. She had mixed emotions about killing a baby like that even though she had a big part in killing an entire race of people. She's complicated.

Brina Blue

The show from the 70s is where you'll find almost all of the content that you can trace back to Mormon theology. Besides still using the idea of mysterious planet Kobol and praying to The Lords of Kobol, I can't think of any other Mormon references in the 2004 show. (I'm married to an ex Mormon missionary, so I have an in house resource!). There will still be plenty of religion and philosophy for you though!

Brina Blue

I watched your Firefly reactions on YouTube, but the second I saw you were reacting to BSG I hopped right over to your Patreon and was not disappointed! What a fantastic reaction! You seem to pick on on little details that so many people leave out. Edward James Olmos is just fantastic as Commander Adama and they were so lucky to get an actor of his caliber to play such a part. I just love his gravitas! Speaking of character names and such, a good place to get them at this time is a screen capture from the credits of this video. If you use Google, you WILL get spoilers about rank changes and such. Speaking of spoilers, not all reactors like to watch all of the show's intro. There is an easy to identify section that changes each week with very, very quick snippets of the rest of the show. They are over a fast drum beat, so it's easy to tell where they start and stop should you decide to look away. Many reactors do, others decide that it's part of the show so it makes for a good guessing game. When the show was new, I personally didn't watch them during my first viewing, but I leave this up to you! One more thing this week! You commented on my absolute favorite ship, the president's assistant Billy and Dee (Dualla) from the CIC! I love them! If anyone two could convince Commander Adama that it's time to start having babies, it's those two!

MertzRocks

Late to your party and don't have time to read every comment. By now you have probably figure out that Humans have a polytheistic pantheon of deities while the Cylons have just one. Here in the miniseries, the show did not yet have the polytheism vs. monotheism bits quite worked out (among other things).

MertzRocks

The baby scene... and then right there was THE FIRST COMMERCIAL BREAK ! We were all like: 😧 WTH just happened!?!?

Donovan Sparks

Hey Kali. I'm super late to the party here, but I finally made it. Between work and other things, I finally have time to support you over here on Patreon. I really love this show and I'm glad you seem to be loving it as well. I may even go back and watch your full length Firefly episodes! Cheers!
