Every time I think this show can't get any wilder, it says "Hold my beer" 🤣🔥 These three episodes were packed full of revelation, heartbreak, and messy human truth. The coincidence of the supernova happening at that exact moment had me rethinking everything I thought I knew for the millionth time. This blinding collision of destiny and destruction made the whole story feel so much bigger than I ever imagined it to be. It was one of those moments where prophecy stops being just an idea. Too many coincidences to call it coincidence. Humanity and the Cylons stood in the same explosion, both reaching for answers before the light faded and burned everything away. Watching Three desperately reach out for answer into her forbidden spiritual truth felt so momentous! I wanted to see what she saw before her eyes turned white. She reached out for revelation with both hands, and the price was everything. Her collapse, her "boxing", the cold permanence of it.. It felt so tragic but sacred. Like she touched something she wasn't meant to ever survive. Her storyline and its ending left me with a chill. A reminder that we still don't know everything about the Cylons and sometimes knowledge is just as dangerous as any weapon.Meanwhile we had emotional battlefield of tension between Kara and Lee. It kept pulling me right back down into the human level of this show. Their connection is so messy, raw, and forever unresolved. Watching them dance around each other in the middle of all this chaos made their drama feel even more intense than usual. Even though I don't understand it completely, they're just two people trying to navigate destiny, duty, and desire. The cracks just started to finally show. These episodes felt like a huge shift. Like it cracked open the show's soul and left it all exposed for us to fall deeper into. I can't wait to see how this Season ends!! I mean... I understand shooting your loved one would be traumatic... But Helo knows she'll resurrect - he knows she isn't dead. It doesn't feel to me like that much of an ask. Now, maybe if they played on his uncertainty of her coming BACK, I'd have believed his anguish more.

Re the moment D'Anna (#3) is put in cold storage - these Cylons you see in their bathtubs when the camera zooms out are not other Cylon models, these are all the Number Three copies. Every copy of that model is now, let's say, indefinitely suspended (what the show will now refer to as "being boxed"). So, as far as the Cylons go, now we have: - Six active humanoid Cylon models (Number Six, Sharon, Leoben, Cavil, Simon, Doral) - One boxed humanoid Cylon model (every single Number Three) - the Final Five, which at this stage we know pretty much nothing about, except that D'Anna's "I'm sorry" comment in the Temple. Any guesses whom she was saying that to? :)

Wonderful to hear your perspectives and live it vicariously through your first reaction! Enjoy the breather in the next few episodes, the final 4 episodes of this season are another roller coaster. And just a friendly warning, season 4 isn't quite as lighthearted as the first 3 seasons, so brace yourself -- although it is my favorite season of the show

This set was such a fun watch, not just because of all the chaos in the episodes, but mostly because of how in depth you went with your thoughts on it all! BSG has always been such a complex show, and I feel like the deeper we go into these seasons, the more and more they're just piling on. So thank you for giving all your open and honest thoughts about what you relate (and don't) with the character's choices here. Episode 12 was just so morally complex. I agree, that Starbuck really is a loose cannon. A free bird on her own path. One that constantly intertwines and unwinds with those around her. Lee definitely got trapped in it, but for Dee's sake, I'm glad for them that he finally saw the light. And then Baltar.... He's one that I've liked, hated, felt bad for, and everything in between so many times through this series lol. And I love that the show can put me through that for one character And then with Hera, back when the original decision was made to take her from Athena, I knew that she'd find out eventually. And I honestly thought that when she did, it would blow up in the face of Roslin and Adama wayyyy worse than it did. But I think Adama not knowing, and then immediately being truthful and supportive of them helped a ton. It's crazy that you'll be finishing this season in like what, 2 more weeks? Gonna be a wild ride!

I agree with you about Dee and I love her so much! I love her intelligence, common sense, being willing to say what she thinks when asked (and not when asked when appropriate), plus having the best moral compass this side of Helo on the show. One thing that I've found that is interesting to think about is what would have happened by now if Lee and Kara had married. Season 3 episode 9 certainly would have been different, but I think that there would already be major cracks in their marriage. Kara is just Kara, not that I admire that part of her character. I feel the same way about cheating as you do. A small detail about BSG to keep in mind is that even though it's a 4 season show, it pretty much was a 7 season show with seasons 2,3 and 4 having 10 episode blocks. Not that this means anything anymore, I just want to make sure that you always enjoy being able to go right from an episode 10 cliffhanger to the next episode. :-) I still very much look forward to your AI write-ups of your thoughts on the episodes that you just watched! (JUST KIDDING on the AI part!) lol For Reals (as you said-I still say that too sometimes), it's the best part outside of watching the episode and I've never seen another creator really dig into a show like you do. I'm also looking forward to hearing what you think about 3 apologizing to one of the final 5 (what could that have been about?).

Kali I love how totally wrapped up you were during all of these eps (and so many more before). I know you know it's just TV but while you're watching it's like you're seeing it as real. You haven't yet posted beyond 'Dirty Hands', but I wonder if you have WATCHED any of the the remainder of season 3... ...??? I so look forward to seeing it. 😘💕 🤘😎🎸
