Hi everyone!I wanted to start this week by saying THANK YOU! Watching Frieren together has been such an amazing experience and seeing how much love it's received on both Patreon and YouTube has been really exciting the past couple weeks! It's reminding me of our journey way back in Lord of the Rings and that feeling Sam talks about. How even if the stories aren't real, they still mean something because "Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why." 🤍Because of that, I'm really leaning more into shows and anime right now! But don't worry, movies aren't going anywhere! My goal is to keep at least one or two movies a week so no one feels like they're missing out on those cozy movie nights we love. But the schedule will look more full of ongoing stories and shows which I'm really excited for!So let's get into this week's schedule! 👀✨🦑 Squid Game | Season 2 x Episodes 5-7We're already at the end of this season, which feels wiiiild. I've really enjoyed Season 2! I'm so curious to see how Seong Gi-hun navigates this game. How he tries to convince others that the games aren't worth their lives. But especially how things will play out now that the host is also playing the game. I have a feeling this season will be SUPER intense & I can't wait!🌿 Frieren: Beyond Journey's End | Season 1 x Episodes 8-11I'm loving the deeper insight into Frieren and Fern! Stark's intro has brought some really fun, slightly awkward humor to the group that I didn't know we even needed. This show has quickly become something very special to me. And yes, it's 100% the reason I've gone full anime gremlin and decided to start ANOTHER series already lol🗡️ Demon Slayer | Season 1 x Episodes 1-4You can't say you didn't see this coming with how much I've loved the anime movies and now Frieren!! I have never been recommended a show more aggressively (but lovingly) than this one. I'm so excited to finally see what this world is all about and why it's one of the more popular anime shows out there!🕶️ Daredevil | Season 1 Episode 1We're officially starting! I'm easing into this one, but I know many of you have been very patiently waiting for me to begin this journey so I don't want to push it off any longer! Once Squid Game Season 3 wraps up in a couple weeks, I'll add more episodes per week since these are long. But for now, I am very ready to see why so many of you are obsessed with this character!🍿 A Knight's TaleMy Valentine's Day pick! It's been on my list since we finished the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy. I'm so excited to see Heath Ledger and in a more normal role after the Joker lol. This will be my second Ledger film ever, so I'm really curious to see his vibe!Thank you all so much for your continued love, support, and for spending time with me watching stories! It means more than you know. It's also been awesome seeing patreons here that have also dipped their toe into anime for the first time with me and are absolutely loving it so far!
