Hey everyone! We've got another exciting week ahead with continued journeys, new seasons beginning, and my first official Leonardo DiCaprio film!! Here's what we have lined up for this week: 🌿 Frieren | Season 2 Episodes 1-3I can't believe we're already beginning Season 2. It feels like only yesterday that I jumped down the anime rabbit hole for the first time with you guys because of this beautiful series. Frieren has definitely earned a permanent place in my heart. I can't wait to see what this Season holds!🗡️ Demon Slayer | Season 1 Episodes 21-24WOW. After Episode 19, I can't wait to watch more of this show! I loved it before, but episode 19 changed me and the entire way that I look at this series 🙀👀😈 Daredevil | Season 1 Episodes 10-11I've been absolutely loving our time in Daredevil. I look forward to its intense slow burny vibe every single week! And now with that deep dive into Fisk's background and why he is the way he is... My view on the entire storyline has definitely shifted again.☠️ One Piece (Live Action) | Season 1 Episodes 4-6I absolutely LOVE the vibe of this live action & the storyline already has me completely hooked. Luffy's energy is so energetic and contagious! I'm still undecided on if I'll jump into Season 2 right away or if I'll begin the anime 👀 Maybe I'll decide after this season finale! Thank you all so much for your input on the first post!🍿 The Wolf of Wall StreetHonestly, I'm SO looking forward to finally watching this movie! I've heard nothing but incredible things and this will be my first Leonardo DiCaprio film ever 🔥 I'm expecting it to be intense and chaotic based on the comments I've seen, but I've had my eye on this film for so long and keep wondering why it's highly rated and talked about! It FINALLY won a poll, so I'm very ready to sit and watch it with you all this weekUpdates/News: 📌 I totally forgot to post the March Q&A thread for you all last week 😅 I'm not sure about you all, but I feel like time has been absolutely flying by lately! I'll be sure to post it this week and most likely film it over the weekend so I can share it with you all next week sometime!📌 Firefly is currently working on being re-uploaded to the non-sync format (where you don't need your own copy!) I saw the hype about a possible ANIMATED SHOW starting up if they can get enough people to hype it up for them. So if you're a true browncoat and you'd love to see an animated series begin with our beloved characters make sure you check out this post from Nathan Fillion: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DV6Js56jT3F/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== THIS IS SO EXCITING if it all works out!As always, thank you all so much for hanging out with me on Patreon!I'm excited for another awesome week of watches with you 🙀🤍

Morning Kali! I believe One Piece has 8 episodes in season one. 8 in season two as well Oh, and my vote would be to watch season 2 first. I’ve only watched season one. And was planning on watching season 2. It’d be fun to watch along with you

Joe

Exciting week. In regards to One Piece, I am watching with you for first time and am loving the live action too. As far as the anime, I hope you focus on other properties (my suggestions would be Attack on Titan or Solo Leveling.). Or get into animated, but not anime shows (like Arcane, Invincible, or Blue Eye Samurai.) there is just SOOO many one piece episodes that it would dominate the lineup for a while and I think the variety is nice where you still get the story and characters through the live action but can explore other stories too.

Terry In the UK

Wow !!!!......just wow. That is an impeccable line up for the week Kali...just sublime. I'd normally try to vocalize my appreciation, but I can't think of words that would adequately express how amazing this week is going to be. Thank you Kali.

TChang23

Can't wait for more frieren and demon slayer! I've heard great things about the one piece anime but over 1,000 episodes is a bit overwhelming so l've never started the anime but if you do end up watching it I may have to finally start that adventure! Also, im sure someone mentioned it but the author of One piece, Eichiro Oda has disclosed the secret of the one piece along with the fate of Luffy by writing it down and having it sunk to the bottom of the ocean but some fans may have figured out the general location of where it could be, the following the series has is just incredible

Chuckles1004

Time has been flying! Especially with your home's illnesses running rampant. Puts everything on hold and I know how things definitely can get overlooked. Thanks Kali. Woww, The Wolf of Wall Street. I'd think you'll love it and Leo's movies always great and thought provoking. My favorite is Inception, a total Sci-Fi, thriller and Mind-Bend. You'll do the unboxing during Q & A, right?

AttractivePigeon

If wolf of wallstreet is your first Dicaprio movie, than you should go back and watch Shutter Island and Inception. Two of his best and my favorite films done by him! Also the Revenant (kind of slow) and also "What's Eating Gilbert Grape"

kaliwali

Omg you're right! Here I was thinking it was only 6 episodes this whole time 🤣 Thank you!

Bill Bowron

Hi Kali. Again, I realize that I’m probably in the minority here, but is there any chance we could get one less show and perhaps one more movie reaction per week? Been really missing them lately. Hope you have a great week! Take care.

kaliwali

Yess! Unboxing during the Q&A! ✨

Dude Longcouch

Thanks for shouting out Nathan's Instagram post! It's time for all Browncoats to rally together and show their support. CAN'T STOP THE SIGNAL!

Dude Longcouch

Also, if you don't mind me asking, do you still plan on doing that baseball movie poll that we talked about a while back? Opening Day is creeping up!

Chuckles1004

His performance is Gilbert Grape was simply AMAZING!!. We thought he was actually....... He could only lose the Oscar to Tommy Lee Jones for the Fugitive. Another movie she has got to watch.

McShades

Yeah I was excited when I saw the news about Firefly... I really hope Netflix or Amazon picks them up. I'm surprised Disney hasn't done it since they own the IP rights.. Damn girl, I think you might be the hardest working woman in reaction videos... You provide a lot of content for $10.... Most reactors only do maybe 2 shows/movies a week... Don't get burned out...

rubberkidney

as an animation lover i respect one piece for its wacky squash stretch boundary pushing but i would just stick to the live action, with 1000+ episodes you would be locking yourself in for eternity, even at your pace which is quick. there are shows like attack on titan which i dont really care about but i know others will push it hard, but at least that show has an end. one piece effectively has no end. also from my understanding they are planning on rebooting it with higher quality( maybe?) so i would at least wait for that. me personally i would love to see you watch hunter x hunter, dan da dan or vinland saga. all masterpieces, all are reasonable finishable lengths.

Andy Jordan

Fun week coming up. Also, I saw you on The Poppies Saturday. Nice job!

Nina

I'm still waiting for Titanic!!! 😊😊😊

Nina

It's also your first Martin Scorsese movie. One of the greatest directors of all time.

rubberkidney

oh if you want anime that is firefly flavored check out cowboy bebop.

Jose Morales

If I recall One Piece Season 1 and 2 both have 8 each. I loved season 1, but I feel season 2 was actually better. Can't wait for more of this show.

Danza777

I’m sooooo excited for your reaction to Wolf of Wall Street. It’s epic movie and it doesn’t get old. Can’t wait to see what other movies are in your sights 😁

Sky Quest Music Official

Oh my good god Wolf Of Wall Street won the poll. I have not seen that movie in years. If its as insane as I remember it being, I CANNOT wait to see your reaction to it🤣🤣

Austin Silv

Idk if anyone has mentioned this Buffy PLEASE watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer it’s excellent television

chris berestoff

First Leo film!? Well then, Titanic has to be next.

Seth bandy

Love What’s eating Gilbert Grape, his performance in is fantastic

kaliwali

I've gotten sooo many recommends for Buffy! It was even on a poll about a year ago.. def on my radar tho 👀

kaliwali

I just know it's gonna be too tragic for meeee 😅 But I know it's a must watch eventually!!

kaliwali

Thank you! It was really awesome to be a part of it!

kaliwali

Oooh it is next week already isn't it! 👀 Hmmm thanks for the reminder!

kaliwali

Honestly, thank you for realizing how much effort I put into a schedule like this instead of complaining it's not enough of one particular thing 😅😂 I really appreciate it! I enjoy everything I'm watching so much that it doesn't feel like I'm overloaded at all (at least for now haha) but I'll be sure to schedule in little breaks here and there bc it is a lot

kaliwali

YESSS I am so excited! I hope the animated series works out!

kaliwali

Thanks for the input, Bill 🤍 I understand the uptick in shows can seem like a drastic change from the 2 or 3 movies a week like before.

Nina

No come on. You watched Schindler's list. That movie is a hundred Times worse than Titanic. If you can watch SL you can watch Titanic 😘

Bill Bowron

I’m sorry if I upset you, Kali. I realize how much work you put into all of this and I certainly respect that. Just prefer more movies than shows, but that’s just me.

James Park

Cant wait for firefly

Why It

tbh, as great as it is, I would not start the one piece anime unless you plan to be watching it for the next 10 years. They are making a new one that is supposed to more closely follow the manga and have less filler episodes, I would wait for that.

Thoko

I'm really interested to see what you think of Wolf of Wall Street. As a guy I found it both outrageous and amusing. But I wonder if a woman will have a different view of the bro culture. Some of the things that are said and done in those bro environments can feel like a gut punch.

Thoko

Are you sure it will only be 10 years though? Aren't they still continuing to make that show?

Al Paka

"my first Leonardo DiCaprio film ever " Then Titanic will be your second Leo movie. ^^
