QOTD re Wickerman: yes… based on how Cage plays it and how it’s directed (the dialogue etc) 100% an absurdist dark comedy. It’s a weird, but great…..um, a weird but entertaining movie lol

I get so upset when people make appeals to nature, it seems almost inevitable that the line of argumentation devolves into somehow excusing our worst human impulses. Part of being human, part of being rational, is the ability to reject our instincts, it's part of what distinguishes us from animals. We don't have to be selfish, greedy, violent, voyeuristic, tribalistic, or any of the other shit that we do reflexively; we can choose to be better.

On the SBB radio show whenever Alex says "That's like when..." the hosts have to stop talking while Alex's Absurd Simile theme plays, then afterward Alex can say his ridiculous simile.

It depends on the area, but it seems that the issue isn't so much as having an ac but that having the ac running while they record will diminish the audio quality. That being said, if an ac will help them stay comfortable I would rather them run it while recording. That's just me, tho.
