March Release: Tavern Style Can Holding Dice Tower (Patreon)

We are bringing back one of our most popular designs for our final March release!

This month we were hoping to present a brand new mechanical dice tower, but the design is taking quite a bit more work than we originally anticipated. We want it to be reliable, satisfying, and worth the wait, so that project is now planned for April.

In the meantime, we are excited to share a refreshed favourite for March Patreon members: the Tavern Style Can Holding Dice Tower. Happy sip & rollin', everyone!

Key Features

Support-free: Supports suck. We design our towers to make printing easy, so this model prints support free on FDM.

Can holding design built for real cans: Each can holding tower is designed to firmly fit standard cans (pop or beer) while leaving wiggle room for craft beer cans with thicker labels. Tall cans are no issue.We also include inserts for smaller cans and bottles.

Build plate requirement: You will need a minimum 180 mm x 180 mm build plate to print the standard sized can version (including tall cans).

Multi colour project files for anyone printing with an AMS or other multi material setup

Files for this month are provided to active Drake and Ancient Dragon patrons through Google Drive during the release month. Once the models are available on MyMiniFactory, you will receive a reward link so you can add them to your MyMiniFactory library.

Printing notes

This model is designed for FDM printing.

General FDM recommendations

Printer type: FDM

Material: PLA or PETG

Nozzle size: 0.4 mm

Layer height: around 0.2 mm

Walls: 2 to 3

Top layers: 4

Bottom layers: 3

Infill: 10 to 20 percent gyroid (or your preferred pattern)

Designed to print with no supports!

If you are printing multi colour, load the included project file, keep the provided colour layout, or swap colours to match your own tavern aesthetic.

Tier access and usage

Drake tier: Receives the Tavern Style Can Holding Dice Tower for personal use as part of the March pack.

Ancient Dragon tier: Receives the same files plus the right to sell physical 3D prints under the merchant license terms in our Patreon introduction post.

STL resale or sharing is not permitted. Credit to Curations By Kira is required when selling physical prints, and merchants must have an active Ancient Dragon subscription.
