There have been whispers in the comments suspecting Dousa may actually be the one who killed Helevise! There was the suspicious bird present when she was speaking with her daughter a few chapters back, that some people believe might be his :0 So not War, but potentially another foe? Or maybe friend!

There is something suspicious about him either way, yeah. I guess part of what made me wonder is how incredibly confident he is at the sparring, which is amplified in the comic that showed his and Nero's fight, Dousa tells him something like "Wow you took *me* head on and barely budged? You *are* strong." He may simply be a blowhard of course, but it'd make sense Dousa is that confident because he's the god of War (insert Kratos joke) meaning he's *literally* unbeatable and yet seeing how hard Nero fought him impressed even him. Then you add how suspicious he behaves and the implication that maybe he's the one who killed Helevise, because he is War and likes to cause conflict. That said, I could also see the reveal that he's merely an ally to War and not the god himself. It's just fun to theorise.
