Tom and Greg (sorry, Gregory) forever my favorite duo. Would watch a whole spinoff of these two

Comments

naa

It’s 3am for me and I’m probably going to fall asleep like halfway thru the reaction, but I’m glad that they uploaded peak

Danger Tomato

Wow we the succession empire get to eat today

Divinerights

Oh you are not ready for the next episode

Jamaal Ellison

A surprise to be sure but a welcome one.

PetersThimble

But to be fair, Shiv needs to realize she initially fucked herself. Sure Rhea manipulated her but she ruined it being her by speaking at the party. And yes, Logan bringing Kendall to that kids house was grimy BUT Kendall killed that kid. Point blank. I cant really feel bad for either of them but I am intrested in seeing how Rhea plays with them all because in truth: Shes right that none of them are currently ready for the succession

Briana J

The next three episodes are some of my favorites. Especially 9 and 10!

Jamaal Ellison

Logan was shooting Kendall dirty looks all episode but especially on the plane! He probably thought he was feeling himself too much like when Ken dared to question Logan fucking Rhea. Naomi seemed to make Kendall happy which was likely the trigger. He was looking like his old self. Smiling, speaking less robotic. Logan didn't like that, a happy Kendall, is a more ambitious Kendall.

Roxy Rezerina

episodes like this or moments with logan actually laughing romans jokes, make him so much more real, and its fucking scary

Jamaal Ellison
>>161461912

Moments like that are are probably worth their weight in gold to the children. Probably part of the reason they continue to roll the dice on being near him. He's made his approval and affection currency to his children. The kid gets it wins.

B23

yep their parents are trash.. no wonder they’re all effed up

shadowfiend

I havent finished the episode yet but I cant help but feel like Kendall sending that pic is going to come back to screw them, I was getting bad vibes the whole time especially with the cruise situation

Aaron Posey

55:55 and now you understand why their children are all such fundamentally broken people. Imagine being given the world but having these people as your parental figures. The fact that they aren’t worse than they are is a miracle.

Expired Breast Milk

How could Kendal not go with Logan? He is responsible for the death of that boy, he needs to at least be present if he is not going to be the one to take accountability.

CocainCowboy

No she’s just a shit mom. She wants all the pros of having kids but absolutely none of the responsibilities. She’s a sociopath that never learned to mimic human emotions.

Expired Breast Milk

Yall stay consistently misinterpreting/ misunderstanding these characters

CentipedeKid

It's not just a punishment to bring Kendall it's a opportunity to. To see if he's got the literal killer mentality. He's testing to see if Kendall is willing to get the job done and fix his fuck up. Kind of like Harry sending in Dexter to fingerprint a witness he traumatized. Do you have the resolve to look at people you hurt and pretend you did nothing wrong?

CentipedeKid

If you eat chicken eating pigeon from the forest of the UK is no different. It's like eating Quail or Cornish Game Hen it's not some dirty NYC street pigeon

HBK 713 🏄🏾‍♂️

It's crazy cause is an asshole on the show but I hear the actor Brian Cox(Logan) is a sweetheart in real life 🤣😂

CentipedeKid

The crazy part is Shiv doesn't even know that her dad set up the job knowing it would leak just so he could tell her to fuck off while it looks like it's not his fault

CentipedeKid
>>161466464

Honestly as a shit mom she did the best she could in that scenario. She knows she's spiteful and would likely try to use whatever he was going to tell her.

CentipedeKid
>>161459408

Kendall didn't kill anyone that grown man grabbed the wheel. Best you can say is it's his fault they were there but that's it.

Expired Breast Milk
>>161466168

He's a pampered rich kid responsible for manslaughter because of his drug addicted lifestyle. He will face zero culpability, the absolute LEAST he could do is look the parents of the victim in the face. Boo fucking hoo he's questioning suicide, his problems are of his own making.

Tsuki

Logan is trash

Samke Dladla
>>161468084

I think Brian and Logan match each other personality wise based on what I've read about his opinions on his co-stars but his politics are the exact opposite of Logan.

CentipedeKid
>>161467746

Even a 5 year old could dress a pigeon to remove the pellets. I'm pretty sure a rich women's personal hunter could do the same.

CentipedeKid
>>161467746

I'm assuming you don't hunt to know that this is a rare issue that's caused by people poorly preparing their food.

cornett0

english food aint like that yall cause this show violating 😂😂😂

windyMelon
>>161475002

The show runner himself is British, it’s just classic self deprecating humour. But yeah you’re right, our food is great compared to places like the US or Sweden or something. It’s only because we’re neighbours with France and Italy that we get a bad rap

Danielle
>>161466168

Oh please Logan does not care about that. He forced Kendall to go to put him back in his beaten down and obedient place. He wants Kendall to be a broken lap dog that doesn’t question or challenge him. Kendall was starting to do that and Logan said yeah no it’s time to remind you of this traumatic event you caused.

James Small
>>161475002

lmao Compared to the US? Besides fish and chips and maybe sausages, mashed potatoes, and peas what good food does the UK have that isn't just taken from Indian and Middle Eastern people? Beans on toast? There's a reason why British food is clowned on so much lmao.

Chief Doodle

Logan is nasty but he is extra nasty when his age is brought up

Maleny
>>161471236

haven't even watched the episode yet but I'm liking this comment in advance.

Expired Breast Milk
>>161466168

Jealous of what? Imaginary wealth? And you are a person unconcerned with accountability, hand waving away someone's mental health crisis os why people of means always get away with no consequences. You reap what you sow, his mental instability is a direct result of his poor decision making, and his station is why he won't truly be held accountable. The least he could do is face the people.

Expired Breast Milk
>>161466168

Logan's reasoning is irrelevant to me. Kendall needs to be reminded he is responsible for killing someone from a purely moral standpoint. Kendall wants to remain a lapdog. That's where he wants to be because he is WEAK. Until he grows some balls then this state is all he deserves. His life is of his own making

Mali Howard
>>161466700

I mean, it's art at the end of the day. It's perspective-based, and seeing how different people interpret people's motives is intrinsically in itself apart of the show. I know for a fact you probably watched some deep dive into these characters from a person with a different perspective who says this and that but just let people enjoy and take these characters in for themselves

Mali Howard
>>161466464

Yeah, I agree she is a terrible mother, but I think its fascinating to look at the environment that they date in. She was more than likely there for the most part for the money and power that came with it. She knows she's not that good of a mother and probably feels lonely. And just wants the idea of having kids and a normal life. there rich father can deal with the kids lol

Mali Howard
>>161459408

I gotta agree that he had a hand in getting that kid killed for the most part. He let his greater impulses lead him to destruction. He just wasn't satisfied with the regular drugs and went out of his way to get stronger stuff. I would also say if he truly felt guilty about it, he could have spoken up about it or done something to make it right. He didnt in the end and you cant really sympathise with a character who boasts about being this cool, hip, and down to earth billionaire who does drugs but doesnt do the right think when necessary.

Divinerights
>>161475002

Wealthy people do eat pigeon (doves if you want to imagine a cleaner bird). It’s not specific to England at all though

Divinerights
>>161475002

Also this tired meme. If you want to know what food we have go and google it instead of baiting with beans and toast

Uni

Ya know with the mother dipping on Kendall, I like to think of it like this, both of their parents know they are both petty, If she were to get hold of the info of Logan keeping a dead kid under raps and knows the type of man Logan is. She would 100% use that against him but also knows the type of shit Logan would go to such length if someone were to blackmail him. Sure it's very fucked up but I see this as a sign of fear maybe, cause you gotta remember she has more years with Logan and had 4 kids with the guy to where it wouldn't surprise me if Logan has a much more "interesting" history that she 100% knows but keeping to the grave and might have done some fucked up shit herself that Logan might hold over her head too if he found out that Kendall told her about it. Cause with Logan, there's no telling what this man will do or the lengths he is willing to go with some Public damaging shit.

>>161509428

wow talk about being charitable, giving ppl the benefit of the doubt, and looking for the best in ppl all wrapped up in one comment. U cuttin Momma ALOT OF SLACK with that interpretation but do you bro.

Fuji

i mean its not like they picking up a pidgeon from the new york streets and eating them lmao

Delinda Arts

Man when Shiv was talking to Rhea, and brought up her working for Pierce, I was face palming so hard. I wanted shawty to walk away from the table so bad.

steezo jckson
>>161475002

if you stepped into a southern black women’s kitchen you’d probably leave crying tears of joy

Galadriel
>>161509428

I'm pretty sure she's just a shitty person and a shittier parent. Roshi, sheera, and Lupa gave her the benefit of the doubt when she dodged talking to him at night and that was already too charitable. Like, the dude looked like he might off himself before morning comes. But on top of that she dips out and leaves a note? She 100% behaved like that over and over before and you can see it from Kendal's expression as he was reading the note.

Galadriel
>>161468151

She didn't at first, but she did after he told her to fuck off which is why she called Ken before the episode ended.

Expired Breast Milk
>>161466700

Art is subjective sure but character writing is a definite article when person A, B, or C displays qualities that either reflect, or do not reflect whatever analysis you come up with. You can't make incorrect assessments and then be like 'it's art and perspective based', when the inferences are wrong. That is definitionally misinterpretation. And hey if you need a deep dive to understand media then its an issue with your lack of literacy, I don't need someone to tell me what to think in order to believe they are misinterpreting the behaviours of these characters.

Drake Rage

58:20 Shiv was trying to put Roman down by saying "Dad wouldn't tell Roman the real numbers," and it was actually smart of Roman to let them yap and come away with the win, instead of correcting Shiv. Shiv wasn't even trying to help with the vote thing anyway, she was siding with her mom about not making this easy to get her to give the vote.. just being petty like Shiv usually is. The mom settled on the 20 mil + Christmas, which was fine with Roman obviously since its under the limit of 50 mil. Its funny cause to me this was the first episode where Roman seemed competent and it kinda supported Rhea's analysis of the kids. I am especially glad they highlighted Shiv's utter lack of experience and her not being as smart as she thinks she is, cause that was where I was at with her from the last couple episodes, lol.

Sometimes their ignorance of anything outside of their culture and where they live in America is astonishing.

I.C.Y
>>161513628

Yes and a chicken is a chicken, are we just naming birds? People eat duck, quail, squab, etc.

Delinda Arts
>>161515307

Like she’s so intelligent but her lust for power be getting her clapped in every scenario.

DarquanJr

The mom was complaining about the kids never coming to her but the next scene she doesnt want to be there for Kendall when he needs her. You get some sympathy for her but she is a terrible mother immeadiatly afterward. All these people suck and this show is great

janelle

roman is incompetent but in the last vaulter episode, he sniffed out the staff unionizing. instincts-wise, he can hold his own, though i personally still think he’s the least capable of the siblings

PetersThimble
>>161459408

The kid was able to get out of the seat, Kendall had time to call for help and who knows if the kid would have survived. He didn’t because he valued himself and his career over someone else’s life. He killed that kid. Y’all can think otherwise but that’s how I see it 🤷🏾‍♀️

Alex
>>161509428

Just a heads up that Connor has a different mother than Kendall, Siobhan, and Roman.

Alex
>>161475002

Bruh are you for real, American cuisine runs circles around British fare. The national dish of England is from India. 😂

General Crisp

Nah Roman is dumb as hell. Sheera thinks because a character complimented him that the show is telling us that he's actually competent. She's definitely doing a play, she diminished the two top contenders (Shiv and Kendall) but somehow the walking lawsuit that is Roman somehow should be the closest to the throne? Nah.

Louis

This niggah Logan is Gaslight city, man’s said „that’s not something I do“ after screaming don’t fuck with me and backhanding his son who is in his 30‘s 😂😂😂😂 they twisted.

Yamin Aqeeli
>>161466700

It is still interpretation based, the writer has something in mind for sure but a show like succession leaves so much space in making you build the puzzle and if you are wrong it still feels good because you realize how it has lead up to something that seems obvious now.

Expired Breast Milk
>>161466700

Every attribute of any thing can be 'interpreted' in various ways, when a character goes on to display behaviour that contradicts with your initial assessment is when you need to re-evaluate. You can pat yourself on the back for something as simple as reaching a conclusion based on evidence and reasoning, but it doesn't stop you from being wrong.

Danielle C
>>161466464

Facts, I know that the word narcissist gets thrown around these days but the way she centred herself during her own daughters wedding (how long do you give it, some people need something to talk about) was crazy work

del

Hold on a second. This is the first ep where we see Kerry. That’s crazy

juan vargas

Why do yall insist of giving these people any credit. They are MONSTERS> Logan took Kendall there to punish him. Nothing Else. Logan dont give an EFF if Kendall spirals out bc of it. And the mother is just as bad. She just didn't want to bother with a "difficult conversation". Even tho i wasn't looking forward rewatching this show it's worth it just to see these guys continuously try to normalize these monsters every week.
