Og Dragonball vibes

mal

apparently there was an original series in like 1993 so this is a reboot. i love the animation. its still clean but gives off that old school look too. definitely feels like dragon ball. this show is bout to be fire

john

to be hero X??

JMarii

Favorite show of this season by far. Everything the Mob Psycho guys work on comes out amazing

LelouchFam

Damn yall releasing early!! Is to be hero x already recorded as well?

Casual

Even his hair reminds me of gokus hair fr og dragon ball

TheMonarch

Mc giving me kid goku vibes.

Casual

Yep this what imma gonna watch this season

Limini

Is that even the og conan VA?

DevilMayCarter

This looks fun. Gives me Fox Kids/Fox Box era vibes.

Jorginho

why are they not reacting to the orb on the movements of the earth?

MrOuijaII

Yes, complete the thought, Roshi! You should def check out the Ranma 1/2 remake, no need to react just enjoy the vibes on your own time.

Requiem_Phantom

Yeah this one aint for me. I like the old anime style, but I hate such child MC's. Especially so young. The youngest I can handle is usually 16. Any younger and Im just not into it. Or if they are suppose to be 16 but look like they are 8 is still a no go for me. Same reason I could never get into Shaman King.

KiriyamaRei

For To Be Hero X, are you guys reacting to the CN dub (original) or JP dub ?

Ghost_Troupe

Aren't Wit remaking One Piece? Might as well let them remake Dragonball too

Derek Warren

Sheera had me dying the whole reaction lmaooo

Freeofgreed

Yall keep talking about beet the vandel buster but havent watched the goat dragon quest remake by the same creators

Limini
>>170353546

Yeah obviously bc of the style. I'm talking about the Voice Actor (VA)

Juan

After watching Ranma 1/2 and loving it so much despite not watching the original, I knew I had to pick this one up as well. Glad you guys did too.

Psyko6

Another good father 🥹

David James

This studio is doing the One Piece remake

J

I was gonna say the art style looks so Detective Conan and turns out it’s by the same author. I had no idea about this series. Looking great so far

Severus Alaerth

It's a remake from back in the 90s, watched it as a kid and remembered liking it but imma be fr don't remember much so i'm just as "blind" as most viewers

SirCapAlot

5mins in I’m locked into this show already 😂👏🏾👏🏾

I'Zanay Rogers

I need that to be hero x reaction bro.......

Joni

damn this is so cool cuz i used to do kendo back in elementary school

Doctor Hacks

Where To Be Hero X at, that’s the goat of this season

Key0

what a fun anime. i fuck with goku samurai legend lol

nakin

TS WAS STRAIGHT ASS 🔥🔥

KingdorismHD

This is giving me ranma 1/2 and hunter x hunter vibes.

Kevin Davison

If you liked this, you will love Ranma 1/2

Sonic

It's from the writer/artist of Detective Conan

Fizzy

Yaiba, fire force and windbreaker and to be hero x are my standout anime this season

Denickart

You should check out the Ranma 1/2 and Urusei Yatsura remakes

Michael Kaiser

early ass uploads not that I’m complaining

Delinda Arts

Watching this ep made me feel like I was coming home from school and that Toonami ship was about to boot up🥹

Frederick

YAIBA. This show definitely feels like old school toonami vibes and I’m here for it

melloburner

i squealed like a child the entire episode. this is GASSSS 😭😭😭

Michael Kaiser
>>170376183

Ahahahah true but they’re all great shows so I personally can wait a couple more hours Np😂

Mubarez Ahmad

LUPA KNOWS MONSTER RANCHER??? that show was amazing

Mubarez Ahmad

i was wondering why this art style looked familiar, its from the author of detective Conan

speedy

nahhh need WIT to remake Yu Yu Hakusho

del

one of the best in one of the strongest seasons in a while. peak opening

DatKid_Kaneki
>>170350521

ok cool cause his dad i have forsure seen him multiple times before so now ik im not crazy

Paul Vizcarra

Making me want to read Case Closed again since I was only on volume 60 something anyway

LordSkan

WIT gonna remake One Piece

Itanna

Remember WIT also made Ranking of Kings so it makes sense they went crazy with this show

Seraph_Dalgon_

18:58 Not Roshi unlocking core memories with the Beet the Vandel Buster callback

Kisuke01

Shit is giving me DB and Ranma 1/2 vibes

Richard

Since you brought it up Roshi, I think you yall would enjoy the Ranma 1/2 remake by Mappa. It was fun. There's going to another season later on don't know when

Erd'na

I still prefer the original OP and ED but everything else is an upgrade.

Eliana

Oh if y’all watching this y’all gotta watch ranma!!!

Sam

Wow, this was awesome. 100% DB feel to it, that was plain fun. Definitely sticking with this

V EP

The drawing style, is giving me Detective Conan vibes. 🤩

Guns

This kid at his peak vs elusive at his peak. Who wins?

Random Guy

This is also made by the author of detective conan. They reference this show a lot in the conan anime. I think they're even using the same voice actress as conan edogawa here. I think the father of the girl is using Kogoro's VA. For some reason episode 1 really reminds me of the asu no yoichi anime but with less fan service. They should also react to Magic Kaito! Same author, and it's connected to the detective conan universe. I think they'll find it fun coz MC is a phantom thief that's also good at magic tricks.

Kd

Yaiba fucked up callin sherra a baboon🙂‍↕️(all love sherra)🤣

Aggtown_817

love how this season anime is giving love to the older style animation with some modern love. check out generic romance, hope more anime go back to that older style maybe get some peak Dragon Ball again with the thicc necks

Mr. Glasses

bro the blatant goku hair ripoff is taking me out lol

DarkGodHao

Bruh you guys are in for a treat with this series, this series has one of the greatest escalating beefs between two guys ever created, ya'll thought the Joestar family vs Dio was outta pocket, just wait til this series reaches its peaks, its been 15+ years since i followed this series but god damn i feel like a kid again ready to watch this plane wreck

WillGlacier

God DAMN April has A LOT of peak in it !

지원

peak

sol jam

the art style reminds me heavily of shaman king i'm in

LY
>>170404342

ahhh that's why the art style looks so similar lol. Their eyes gave it away.

LY
>>170430223

oh, I just read in a comment here that it's made by the same author Gosho Aoyama. No wonder haha

sol jam
>>170430223

Ooh I think it's the old school vibes the last got me but oh man this is going to be interesting

WillGlacier
>>170418822

??? They don't even have the same hair tho they are just both spiky (tho that is 90% of all shonen protags)

Norman kay10

wooow im seeing alot of Goku in this main character and alot bit of Naruto playfulness and i love it in a weird way it also remains me of Ranma

Asl43n

Alternate Dimension Detective Conan ahh show

vash_yy

bruh, they got detective conan eyes, is it from the same mangaka?

Joni
>>170453194

Nah it's not just the eyes bro. The nose and hairstyle are exactly like them too. Yeah it's from the same mangaka

Joseph C Gdaniec

not only is this awesome to see Yaiba animated by WIT but this has got me so hyped for WIT One Piece. If they are going this hard on Yaiba then WIT Piece is about to be insane.

Matt

PEAKKK

Delgado

bro got that hajime no ippo Aoki bait

Brandon Acevedo

I hope they will react to the remake of Ranma 1/2.

Zero

Sheera killed me at the end dawg 😭😭😭

Bria A.

Unrelated to anything I'm so sorry but tf did Patreon just do to the UI 😭 (I'm gonna watch the episode now lmao)

Clinton the Bingethinker

14:34 - Yaiba with his back turned made my mind flash to Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess—that special move, Mortal Draw, where you have to face away from an opponent to use it. Felt so badass anytime I used it lol

FireLord Kade

damn the vandal buster comment unlocked my childhood memory

Tempest

After seeing this first ep of Yaiba, Roshi gang should react to Dragon Quest Dai, a Toriyama-made show. Basically if DBZ was an RPG game.

Eliška Horáčková

Damn, the art style of the characters reminds me of detective conan. Gotta keep an eye on this one.

Arkan Matlub

Crazy how this old ass manga and show from 1990's is remade into such a quality series. RIP Shaman king, you had the potential

Arkan Matlub

Wit also did Ranking of Kings
