If I’m not mistaken this area is just First Divisions jurisdiction and due to third division being split up I’m sure Ashiro and Hoshina are probably busy. I could be wrong though.

@Sheera, I think the first division is covering a whole different area than the third division. Plus a good amount of the third division got split up after their base was attacked so the third division probably isn’t available, it would take them too long to get there, or they’re responding to other situations

Some things to note Everyone right now has the same suit. Some characters are just more talented and can draw out more % of power They dont ALL currently use numbered weapons. Numbers are numbers because they were created using the carcass of the corresponding Kaiju. I think Isao is the only one revealed in the anime so far?

Beautiful Colors is favorite ed so far for the anime season. Did One Republic sign on with Togo to cover all the endings for Kaiju No 8. Even the special episode has a One Republic original. I like it.

a few things to remember are the captains are in different divisions covering their own areas. Everyone uses the same suit, but those with more talent or skill draw out more of the kaiju fiber's potential so shinomiya is doing that off of pure prowess not because of her suit. Also a numbered weapon is different from the suits, those are specific weapons created from specific deceased numbered kaiju and i think it just has the effect of a reduced lifespan on director shinomiya hence why he's somewhat "retired".

All of the suits were made from Kaiju but the weapons that Shinomiya's dad use were from a numbered Kaiju which is why it shortens your lifespan in exchange for the power it gives you

The shortening of their lifespan is not with every Weapon they use. Only the ones made out of Numbered Kaijus.

I believe they’re referring to everyone active currently as the next generation. So Mina and Hoshina would be considered the next generation as well. But they’re not stationed there, so they wouldn’t pull up. It’s like a whole different part of the country that they’d need to mobilize to. It would take too long to rely on them. I also want to know the combat powers. Narumi and Kikoru specifically

If they ever do a sequel series, I’d love to see collaborations between other countries. We know Kaiju are a worldwide problem, given that there are neutralization universities in other countries that people in our squad attended before joining up.

I know I've heard him say it, but I can't remember which series' he's said, "did we get an intro" for. Ironically, it was Roshi who said it last season.

I just realized that the guns they have in this anime don't actually eject spent casings, but all of the guns {which were designed to mimic actual modern firearms) are built as if they do. Like, why does Shinomiya's pistol have a guide rod in the slide if the slide doesn't actually move, and why does the shotgun have a pump-action forestock if it doesn't need to be pumped? None of the guns even have an ejection port, so the artist has made some alterations to the designs, yet they all have something alluding to an action that doesn't exist. I don't even blame them for taking artistic liberties, it's just interesting.
