And I thought the mejiro chick was student that was looking at ko at the introduction part until I realized they met 10 years ago. What yalls should be asking is why the diary is out in the open for something that was years old.

The anime cut-out a chapters worth of stuff explaining where Ko found the diary so it does seem odd that he randomly stumbled across it. Hoping after the flashback they will fill in the blanks with the parts they skipped

I feel like the detective is Mejiro. Unless I'm not remembering some information that'll disprove that, cause nazana is 40-50 years old. So it's not out of the realm of possibility to me.

If the detective isn't Mejiro, Then Nazuna and the Detective are twins. (I'm shooting for the fences here) but it would be crazy if the detective was half vampire like roshi was saying it would make sense. There's no real precedent for halfling genetics

Definitely that simple... she is 1000% the detective. That, or the author wrote her to seem like the detective to make everyone look like fools. But I mean... she looks like her, has the same lighter, and her parents were killed by vampires, giving her motivation to hate them. Also, her only friend was into detective stuff, so.... TOO MANY PIECES FIT
