Sully also doesn’t fw Dushane cus he had to kill dris due to the “rules” and dushane has gone behind his back to break said rules. He also thinks dris was behind both attempts on his life because dushane hasn’t been truthful. Dushane has also brought on someone who actually tried to kill him in Jamie. That’s why he’s not fw the gang shit as well as what sheera said at the end.

Dushane and Jaq not getting enough flack for what happened to Ats for me. First, they keep involving children in their gang shit KNOWING it could somehow end in their death. Stop involving children in this shit and then tryna play Avenger when they get packed up like you didn't know that was a possibility from the beginning. Dushane and Jaq are at fault for his death off rip just based on that alone. Second, assuming Ats was killed because of the part he played in getting Jaime locked up, then its even more Dushanes fault. You sent a CHILD to plant a gun in a known drug dealers house to get that drug dealer locked up so you could have leverage over him. Then you kept the video of that childs involvement with the intent to give it to the police to get Jaime out if he was willing to join your crew. What the fuck did Dushane think was gonna happen when he gave that video to the police? Once the cops have it and it gets added into evidence it becomes public record and obviously the police would eventually identify Ats as the child in the video, assuming Jaime didnt just straight up immediately recognize him as his brothers best friend. As long as that video existed, Ats was always on the chopping block. Dushane knows how this shit goes, he HAD to know that Ats life would be in danger if he kept the video of his involvement especially if he planned on giving it to the police to help Jaime. At the end of the day, the truth is Dushane sacrificed Ats to get to Jaime. This was a big game of chess to him, and he sacrificed his pawn to get to "the king" and that pawn was a 12yr old little boy. Whats worse is he knew he was sacrificing Ats and the proof of that is that he didnt tell Sully his plan to use Ats because Sully told him he did not want to involve children anymore. He knew Sully wouldnt fuck with it because the plan relies on essentially throwing Ats under the bus which is exactly why he didnt tell him. Dushane knew Ats would be in danger and he did it anyway.

While Sully is depressed and I get wanting him to move on, it's not just Jason's death. Sully has become completely disillusioned with the entire lifestyle. He's over it. The drug life keeps taking people he cares about (his daughter cuz he cant be with her as long as hes in the life, Jace, Dris because that lifestyle dictates that Dris has to die for his betrayal). And like Sully pointed out, it's never ending war. You finish one war just to end up in another at some point. He's tired of all of it. I wouldnt be surprised if Sully decides to walk away from it all and give the whole business to Dushane

I can't with the writing of Dushane character these past 2 seasons, he's a fucking idiot acting like he's not surrounding by niggas who'll blow his fucking head off. He should've had something happen to him this episode - I don't care, cut off an arm or some shit. Yeah? To respond to Roshi's points about Sully, and how Sully was all about getting his respect, I think it's important to consider, that the respect only matters, when Sully felt his life was still together. When Sully was wanting his respect during the Summerhouse arc, this is when Sully hadn't been to jail, still had his daughter, still had a relationship with his baby mother. At that point in time, it was he was doing his 9 to 5 and wanting to get his respect, because his life was still together. But like Sheera was getting at, his life is no longer together from his POV. What good is respect, and being treated as a equal partner, if the success he gets won't make his life better. Like Sully was moving how he was moving for him to make the money for his family. Like as much as a crashout Sully is, he isn't power hungry, that's Dushane. For Dushane, yes his ego of always needing to be respected and the HNIC, is something he would care about. But for Sully it's different. I just think what this arc is trying to get across, is that respect doesn't matter that much to Sully, he ain't in it for the love of the game, so that hunger to be on top, ain't there anymore, and why would it? I think it's interesting to watch see the way Sully's priorities have shifted drastically from it originally started, and it has a lot do with the fact thst Sully has faced a lot of the consequences of being in the game, in a way that Dushane has not. Dushane, much like Franklin Saint, love to pop their shit, but don't like handling the dirty work, or ready to take one on the chin and be jammed up on a situation. Dushane hasn't had to face the music like Sully has. Dushane gets the luxury of still being not only naive but also ignorant to his ego. I think what is super interesting is seeing how Sully has grown especially in his emotional intelligence, while Dushane has kind of remained stunted.

Btw Lupa they aren't Irish, they are British but they have a Liverpool accent. The Liverpool accent is quite similar to Irish tho due to a huge influx of immigrants migrating to Liverpool from Ireland during The Great Famine in the 19th century. It completely reshaped the accent into that distinct one you heard

Also just so you guys are aware every city in engalnd has different accents. The people that jaqs sister has been caught up with are likely from the city of liverpool in England. So they have a what's called a "scouse accent" not irish. Dushane, sully, jamie and all of dem man are from London so they have a London accent. Just FYI. For example when you guys watched peaky blinders, you will notice they speak completely differently to Londoners cuz the characters in peaky are all from Birmingham so they have Birmingham accents.

I've honestly felt like Dushane has regressed. He seemed to have a reputation as a polite and somewhat violence-avoidant man in Summerhouse but he's become angrier and more prone to violence as the seasons have gone by.

I think that's a fair assessment. In some ways I can totally see Dushane as regressing, in another way I see it as revealing a trait about him that has always been there, which is he loves to flex his power but he isn't mature enough to handle of the consequences of the flex, and not really the kind of guy to back up all that talk. Dushane when he feels he has a little bit of an edge on the situation will just go full speed ahead into underestimating an OPP cuz he thinks his bark will scare them off from the reality of his bite. I also think your point about him wanting to be more violent and headstrong this season is also accurate af. I think it's because him and Sully aren't on (what seems like) good terms. This season Dushane seems like he wants to prove himself as being able to be a tough as can be, especially because he don't have Sully to do his dirty work that he has it all under control, but classic Dushane he keeps underestimating his enemies because he overestimates his power over a situation. I'm just super looking forward to what's to come y'know?
