Brenden

old intro from the before times huh

Alexis Sullivan

Fingers crossed we get that new Pluribus episode today

Zay C.

Love the random old outro

Drey

We need 2 -4 weekly

DIOR

The new one throws my vibe off before the reaction starts after going years hearing this one some things just too good and don’t need fixing if it ain’t broken

Jamaal Ellison

Requesting For All Mankind on Apple TV.

Inconspicuous Pug

Damn i can’t believe Silo Boyd is already dead

Imari

This lol this show is too gas like from

EJ Katt

Cmon dude im not tryna watch the reaction with one hand change the pfp king😔

sol jam

using the old intro for Silo is actually funny

Devaunta

Nah the new intro is fire, you can’t tell me the bed noises with the Simpson’s couch wasn’t great

ShaquanVirse

Im so fed up with this nigga lol - hope he gets better

Bobby Robinson

I’m really really liking this show

Stale Breast Milk

I don't know if it is intentional but Rebecca Ferguson's (Juliette) accent seems inconsistent. Like it's not quite American, and seems to sort of dip in and out of something else

Gwyn

In the Silo, everyday is leg day

Disoma

I used to think Jamaal was weird as hell, but bro always gives out names, so I can't judge him anymore. He a real one.

Jamaal Ellison

I'm weird, I'm okay with that. I'm just not selfish.

Jamaal Ellison

He reaches the conclusion that he needs to go outside. So I'm guessing he gets better.

Jamaal Ellison

I would've thought Silo Boyd would be asking questions by now. I don't know how long his wife has been dead by now i guess he's still in don't ask don't tell mode. In a weird way it makes sense to me. I think no matter how fucked up things can get for people, as long as they've got a roof over their heads clean asses and full stomachs. I think that's a powerful enough incentive, To make people not wanna upset the apple cart so to speak.

Jamaal Ellison

I'm scared it's like Bioshock in the Silo.

Magnis

waiting for boyd to start with the “i just—“

dragonH

I think the reason why nobody jumps to conclusions that would make sense to us like the footage being fake is I think these ppl (the general public) have limited understanding of technology since everything from the old world is illegal

Cory

I think they said it was 2 or 3 years since she went out during the last episode

CentipedeKid

The sheriff's wife was never shown from his perspective looking at the tree he couldn't tell where she was until he took off the helmet. So whatever is going going on with that suit is fucking with how people see things out there. Like it was beautiful but why would that matter as much as seeing your wife y'know.

CentipedeKid

Roshi might be cooking though

kingBD

Maybe after the last 2 eps of the bear we get 2 a week?👀

Kevin

silo is a mid show. world building is so small and not worth waiting 10 years to complete. EDIT: should've mentioned my comment was made knowing the whole story. not sure if ppl in the replies are watching it for the first time or seen s2 or read the books.

Slime SLAT

Which should make them even more sketchy. All of them are just cowards

Imari

In a show where you have to follow small bits of info to solve a mystery how do you expect it to also have large scale world building? I think in order for the show to keep the vibe of mystery it needs to keep the world small and reveal in intervals like attack on titan for example.

Styrical

Great comparison Imari. First couple of episodes of AOT and even for the first season or two (don't recall perfectly), the world was tiny. But there was so much mystery that hinted that there might be more, who knew, and when it was revealed and the world became bigger it was great. It was great because it had come from a small place, a time when the world we knew as AOT was just Erens hometown, then the next place and the next and the next.

PhaedrusRumple

If the show requires you to use what little brain power you have, just say so.

Jamaal Ellison

It took him three years? I don't know what to say to explain that choice Silo Boyd. i'ma let them cook for now.

Jamaal Ellison

People have really hyped up Silo as peak TV these first two episodes have felt kinda slow. Even with all the mysteries it hasn't grabbed my undivided attention yet. I hoping it's not mid and that maybe it's a grower not a shower.

AnnaSama

It feels like it was written to be very accessible to teenagers. The set design and scene play are a step below the standard for Apple TV's premiere shows, but that's how it usually goes for straight Scifi. It's a good watch.

Zigon Reacts

Picks up around episode 4, but most definitely gets better as it goes on. It’s kinda like From where information comes in bits and pieces but it’s not really the characters fault for this slow information trail, it’s the environment they are in. Certain inquiries of information gets you locked up or worse. So we have to learn at the same pace the Characters are learning the information they are telling us. As annoying as it is, I can confirm it does pay off and it’s nothing like we would expect.

Zigon Reacts

True in a sense, but they have been living under ground for a confirmed 150+ years and time before the rebellion too. So many generations have past that they don’t even think to question anything and we can see with the sheriffs wife as an example, if you ask questions they try to find a way to get rid of you or stop you from procreating to prevent more like minded individuals.

Sam

It's the writer's fault for splitting book one into two seasons.

Arz.09

I haven’t started S2 of silo it’s overall a good show but I do feel like mysteries aren’t really that pulling tbh. Where as from had really interesting ones

Just_some_guy 7

We back to the old intro? I like the old more so big W

Just_some_guy 7

Personally that’s the most annoying part of the new intro for me😭. Mute or skip the intro these days.

Asl43n

So, no one finds it weird that they all start to suffocate while they are still wearing the helmets? What is the suit even for, if whatever they be telling you is out there just phases through it? So they don't get any airtanks? Or maybe they give you some gas that makes you pass out so they can make it seem like you are dying and edit that shit. Which would explain that the Sheriff took off the helmet bc their party gas was hitting him.

Deathzii

Wow I’m jus realizing lol

Lamaree Jackson

The way the show swerve me the first two episodes. I was like oh shit Rasheeda Jones one of my favorite nepo babies—boom gone. Okay David Oyelowo gone figure this out for his wife—you thought lmao

Bria A.

With all due respect, the show is called Silo. They live in a silo. There is truly only so much worldbuilding that can be done in an enclosed space and I think they actually did an interesting job of it when you think about their government / legal system.

Bria A.

Lady Jessica goin through it 😭

john

Good riddance...hope the Russian looking lady is better than black guy.

Kevin

I'm caught up with s2 and I've know what happens in the books. world building is small asf. lore is boring. should not even bring up aot with a boring ass show like this. its well made but that's it.

rYenis

"Go back to catfishing on tiktok you filthy rebel" 👊

rYenis

Keep talking like that, Judicial finna but a birth control implant in u.

Jamaal Ellison

I can digg it. I don't wanna have to set it and forget it.

Imari

Maybe even three lol

Imari

To you maybe but this show has a lot of supporters.

howwlll

Man it was bothering me, George (computer guy) looked so familiar but I couldn't place him. He was "A.M." - the arms dealer from Reacher season 2

Mike A

So there's no reason anyone in the Silo should know how to swim right?

RobertGill

Did we get a intro last episode?

Jeremiah Neely

I KNEW that old white deputy looked familiar. He was Chick in Armageddon with Bruce Willis and Atlee in that Gone in 60 Seconds remake with Nicolas Cage.

M'Sauvea Reynolds

Nah it’s always been on Apple since its debut two years ago

Taffy_47

yo, if everyone is climbing 144 levels of stairs , imagine how caked up they are.

CEIII

nigga…

ViralCorgi

You sure you didn't read the book it's based on? It started as an ebook series. This is based on Wool I think

KiliSloe

No need to be toxic kid.

KiliSloe

I read in the comments that it picks up a bit at episode 4. I hope it's true. It picks up some in this episode.

Flex i cute

Are you watching along for the 1st time?

Myles

Ohhhhhh brotherrrr

Myles

Dude you could've just started saying you're not a fan, if the lore isn't for you that's cool. But it's ridiculous to say the lore isn't boring. It's extremely interesting and a good take on how powerful people run things without the rest knowing.

ItzDIESEL

Watch episode 1 again they dont let anyone rebellious or suspicious have kids. You think they dont do more than that.

ItzDIESEL

well just because it looks safe doesn't mean it is, she was only out there for a min or two before she cleaned
