Sam

Chris Murray

Krype

Sad :(

Lola

Can you guys please check out the kdrama The Atypical family on Netflix 🙏🏾 I’m sure you will like it !

Omar Bautista

Worse they didn't leave but rushed passed the manga and plus more

DarkGodHao

Wait wait wait, did the anime outright just SKIP the rest of the manga??? I mean can see various reason why cause after school festival, the War technically ended....so it not a bad choice

PJ Rivera

Now this is a surprise

Sam

actually adapting the manga is not milking it

Sekraan

Pretty much. Like 100+ chapters. There were 1-2 disappointing arcs near the end - it's mainly that penultimate one that people hated, because it felt like it was from an entirely different series - but there's lots of good stuff they skipped too.

Jamaal Ellison

Requesting For All Mankind on Apple TV. In an alternate timeline in 1969, Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov becomes the first human to land on the Moon. This outcome devastates morale at NASA but also catalyzes a U.S. effort to catch up. With the Soviet Union emphasizing equality by including a woman in subsequent landings, the United States is forced to match pace, equally training women and ethnic minorities (who historically were largely excluded from the initial decades of U.S. space exploration). Pushed by higher competition, the Soviet and other blocs favor more competent leaders, modernizing earlier and on more rational ground. With sustained investments in technology, a broad, sustained, and global technological race takes place, with a wide range of dramatic civilian effects, such as early civil rights, electric vehicles, civilian fusion power, controlled CO2 production, and no climate crisis. Each subsequent season takes place about a decade later, with season two taking place in the 1980s, season three taking place in the 1990s, and season four taking place in the 2000s. Ronald D. Moore explained how historical reality had been different from the series: "Sergei Korolev was the father of the Soviet space program; in our reality, he died during an operation in Moscow (in 1966) ... And after that point, their Moon program really never pulled together.... Our point of divergence was that Korolev lives, ... and he made their Moon landing happen.

DarkGodHao

I can understand why though, those arcs were pretty meh, especially Kaguya's interpersonal family drama, anime wise it was a good decision, yeah they'll skip some good moments, but even the author was burnt out from those last arcs

RealPersonMan

If they didn't want to adapt it seriously let someone else do it. This is OPM all over again

Devin B

20:32 lol the Aokiji and Dio reference

Arkan Matlub

I don't like why they rushed it. Doesn't matter if people like it or not, just adapt the manga fully and let the anime only decide, if they didn't like it either then who cares, it was fully adapted with all the plot points inside that many would appreciate (example Ishigami and Miku and more). So annoyed

Sam

the streamer thing is canon

Sekraan

The Papa Shirogane as YouTuber content was absolutely in the manga and one of the things I was looking forward to seeing adapted the most (pretty everything from that character is gold).

Sekraan

I'm mostly disappointed about the Hayasaka and the Miko+Ishigami developments getting skipped. The said, the latter had the most disappointing conclusion so perhaps the anime-original movie will be an improvement. (cope?)

Ginger Dwarf

Kaguya sama is a top 5 rom com for sure. Top spot goes to 100 gf to me but holy christ is 100 gf so funny.

Jeffison

this is outright so much more worse than getting nothing.

Kris Barnes

I’m so sorry to say that all the Shirogane’s dad Youtube stuff is 100% in the manga and it’s just as jarring and hilarious there as it is here.

sip

This was actually kinda encouraged by the mangaka i think, so idk if there was saving this lmao

baja

Freaky ass title

Rob Pait

The throwback animation was based of the famous "Bright Slap" from OG Gundam. Similarly, the V in the Vtuber plan is taken from the Operation V manual from the same Gundam.

Rob Pait

And yes, the streamer stuff was in the manga

UV

I think the other two were Toji from jjk and Takasugi from Gintama

Gilthwixt

Shirogane went to Stanford and immediately got groomed by Drake

Xemnas27

Surprise Kaguya upload wow

NovaVortex

Peak rom com makes brief return. I miss this show and it's crazy characters.

Michael Kaiser

Ts hilarious 😭😂😂😂😭😭😭

A Jiang

fun fact kaguya voice actor sings in the opening song with the main singer

Osborn Malakhov

Nope, the streamer stuff was in the manga, I read it 😄 It was great

Hopeless Mongrel

Y’all know we got golden kamuy today right?

Kreative

Kaguya is back!???

Moon ୨୧

cannot believe they revived this omg

_monjiro

20:32 yeeeeeea papa shirogane's voice actor's whole ass wikipedia page in the back with Dio, Toji, etc. while he talking about how people "want low, hot-guy voice". Ik Aka Akasaka has been praised for their use of the 4th wall and meta, but im genuinely impressed by the studio willing to match and surpass that energy

_monjiro

22:22 random temu zenzenzense (RADWIMPS song from Your Name). Also Roshi, most of the streaming/youtuber bit was in the manga iirc that last donation he got was from Koyase Tsubame seeking advice about how to handle Ishigami.

Rob-ert

this was all manga 😭

Rinely

The throw back animation style with Miko being slapped is a reference to the OG Mobile Suit Gundam 79. Specifically the memed 'Bright Slap' moment, where Bright slaps some sense into the main character Amuro.

Del7a

damn from chapter 151 to 191 with just some flashes, DAMN that crazy i mean, i know they will change something but still crazy, skipping ishigami like nothing, all that preparation just for cut him off the screen
